Pip | 814 comments Many thanks to Everyman for his help and suggestions for dividing up the book.

Under The Greenwood Tree is divided into five parts – the four seasons from Winter through to Autumn, plus a Conclusion. As you can see, we have one very short week for Part the Third but that should give us some built-in time for catching up.

All dates are Sunday to Saturday.

November 1st-7th - Part the First: Winter (84 pages)
November 8th-14th - Part the Second: Spring (69 pages)
November 15th-21st - Part the Third: Summer (31 pages)
November 22nd-28th - Part the Fourth: Autumn (61 pages) AND Part the Fifth: Conclusion (24 pages)

See you all on Sunday for your reactions to “Winter” – and you can find / add to background information and resources in the meantime here:

Rachel (thedoctorscompanion) I wont be able to participate in this read even though I was hoping to. :( I'm still making my way through Far from the Madding Crowd (I'm a slow reader! Lol).
Hopefully in December or January I'll be able to participate again.

Dee | 129 comments I would really love to read this and discuss, but I guess it's too late now darnit.

Dee the links are still accessible. And I'm sure others would respond to your comments

Dee

If you want to discuss UTGT feel free to post. We have had a great discussion on it but I'd be happy to carry on with you. I'll be travelling for the next 3 weeks, so I may not respond immediately, but respond I will.

It's short and easy (and pleasant) to read, so you can probably get most or all of it read in a few days, and there are still people happy to continue the discussion with you.
