2015 Reading Challenge [Closed] discussion

For this week I didn't want to read a book that was exclusively about Christmas. I wanted to read something that presented Christmas but wasn't really the main focus. This book is the shoe that fit.

I just finished this and it's a really cute, quick read. There's definitely a feel of Christmas here, the hustle and bustle of it all. All the emotions one might attach to the season and some good laughs along the way. Is anyone else reading this?

This will probably be my next read, also for the Christmas week. I need a fun little book!

I just finished it and quite liked it! It's fun and cute, exactly what I needed right now. The only thing I didn't like is how unrealistically adult some parts sounded. It didn't bother me in The Fault in our Stars because of the seriousness of the topic, but here the clash between the story and the language was too much.

I read this book because it was recommended for a holiday book. But by the time I got to opening the cover, I forgot that part!

It was a light and fun book, just like you both described. What I liked best was that both Lily and Dash had opposite feelings about the holidays. I could imagine them in a group of friends and dismissing one another because of their holiday spirit...but it worked in this format.
