Crazy right! I was reading it during a major reading slump, and it's not really one to pull you out of those!

No it isn't! Way too detailed and it is a slower read, I just thought it was so beautiful though. So, I do hope you'll pick it back up and finish it!

Corine, you should join us! I've been wanting to re-read myself! So, this will be perfect as a buddy read. I'm so glad you loved it too!!

I love The Night Circus! I would love to reread it with you guys. I will try and fit it in! I wish I was rich and in early retirement so I could read all day long! hahaha :)

Corine, I LOVED your comments and review of THE NIGHT CIRCUS!! And I couldn't agree more! I think my favorite aspect of this book were the character descriptions and the different tents Marco and Celia built. Morgenstern's writing and descriptions are enchanting! I keep hoping she'll write another book, but so far I haven't heard if she is working on another one.

Has anyone else finished the book? Thoughts while reading? On Corine's lovely post?

Catie, I think enchanting' is the perfect word to describe the writing! I also found the tent descriptions to be one of my favorite parts. There was such a dreamlike, magical quality to the story, such an enjoyable read. It's definitely one of my new favorites!

I haven't started this yet. I'm waiting for Lisa and Katie.
