If you are willing to place one of your December reading choices in the hands of another person, just leave a comment here with at least five books and no more than ten from your TBR shelf. Participants need to leave comments no later than Tuesday, Nov 17th.

Here's how it will work:
Sophia will match people up and leave a comment with a list of who will choose for whom.
When you see the person you are to pick for, then look at their list in the above comments and leave a new comment with their name and the book you chose for them by Tuesday, Nov 24th.
You also need to watch and see what book your person chose from your list for you.
You have the rest of the month to read the book.

So if this sounds like something you would like to do, just comment below leaving your name and list of book choices for someone to pick your December book.

As does Carmen! Love seeing your pick it choices, too!

I'm with you, Erika. I am so nosy about what everyone is reading so I can add it to my shelf if it's new to me.

Nope! You can add/switch/subtract all you want until tomorrow night. That's a good one. I need to get to that one for a review next month and I'm excited to read it.

Howdy guys!

Here's the list. Same as before. Person on the left column picks for the person in the right. Make sure you post your picks by Tues, Nov 24th and don't forget to check for the book your person chose for you. Reading can start earlier than December remember. I thought an extra week or so would help since December can be so busy.

1. Kirk---> Kim
2. Sophia-> Trish
3. Abigail> Claudine
4. Erika--> Debbie
5. Carmen-> Mary
6. Mary---> Carmen
7. Debbie-> Kirk
8. Claudine> Sophia
9. Trish--> Abigail
10. Kim----> Erika

Enjoy your picks! Feel free to share what you think in a comment here.

Hey, Trish!

I drew your name. My eye was caught immediately by the first book on your list. I'm dying to know if its good so I'm picking Jane Austen Lives Again by Jane Odiwe for you. Hope its as good as it looks. :)

message 33: by Kirk (new)

Kirk (goodreadscomkirkc) | 77 comments Hi Kim,

There are several on your list that look very interesting to me....
and one is among my least favorite JAFF ever. Two I've
read and loved...I choose My Dear Sophy...Happy Reading!!!!

message 34: by Claudine (new)

Claudine DiMuzio / Just Jane 1813 | 197 comments Good morning Sophia...

What to pick for the lady who reads EVERYTHING??

My choices for you are :

The Knights of Derbyshire, by Marsha Altman, if you've read the first four books in her series... If you have, she just finished book 10 (the last book in the series) and I'll be reviewing her series on the blog, dates to be determined, along with a book 10 giveaway in the future!!

If not, A Darcy Christmas, by Amanda Grange, Sharon Lathan and others...

Enjoy, Claudine

Mary | 30 comments Hi Carmen,

Simply because I loved the book myself and as she is one of my favourite authors, I've chosen KaraLynne Mackrory's Bluebells in the Mourning for you!

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!

Happy reading !!

Mary.

Patricia | 29 comments I made I mistake I said Julie instead of Abigail. Julie s book secrets of Pembroke park

message 38: by Abigail (new)

Abigail Bok (regency_reader) Hi, Claudine: for you I’d like to pick Jane and the Twelve Days of Christmas, since I’m intending to read it in December as well, and then we’ll be reading it together. Also, I love Stephanie Barron’s work.

Thanks, Trish, I’ll download Secrets and get started soon!

message 39: by Claudine (new)

Claudine DiMuzio / Just Jane 1813 | 197 comments Thanks Abigail! I have it in audiobook to listen to and I'm featuring it one day on my blog event, "The Twelve Days of Jane." Does it matter that it's my first read by Barron? Can it be read out of order?

message 40: by Sophia (new)

Sophia (sophiarose) | 757 comments Mod
Thanks, Claudine!

Yes, I've read the first four so I can read Knights though its been a few years so hopefully I'll remember enough to get into this one. :)

And I saw you asking about Twelve Days of Jane. I think you'll be alright to get it out of order though I wouldn't recommend doing that with some of the earlier ones.

message 41: by Abigail (new)

Abigail Bok (regency_reader) I’m relieved to hear it can be read out of order—and I’ll add to Sophia’s recommendation by saying that you should definitely try to read them all sometime—a wonderful series! Barron writes Austenesque language better than anyone, in my view. I think the first is Jane and the Unpleasantness at Scargrave Manor.

message 42: by Erika (new)

Erika (eureeka75) | 92 comments Hey Debbie, for you reading pleasure I choose Mr Darcy's Rival by Kara Louise. You had some great books, and lots that I haven't read yet, but this one grabbed me when I was reading your list. I hope you enjoy it and I can't wait to see what you think before I read it!!

Erika

Thanks Kirk! Your comments have me intrigued. I look forward to reading My Dear Sophy as it falls into my own little challenge of reading at least one non-P&P JAFF book per month!

message 44: by Kim (new)

Kim (allthelovelypages) | 22 comments Hi Erika, You have a lot of titles on your list that I've not read (some I've never heard of!) so I'm taking a shot here with Darcy and Elizabeth - A Most Unlikely Couple because it sounds like a good story. Looking forward to your thoughts on it.
