Since I'm going completely out of order at this point, I'm hoping to squeeze a few more in, as my list is always sooooooo long. I just wanted to read this book so badly, and it didn't really fit anywhere else. :)

- Are there any books published in 2017 that you're looking forward to reading?
It's a bit early yet to know exactly what will be out in 2017, but I am sure that there will be something incredibly tempting.

Lyndi (mibookobsession) (mibookobsession) I'm reading out of order and I won an ARC of The Girl from Summer Hill from Penguin Books. There's plenty of time left in 2016 to read new books, not to mention 2017!
This book was a lighthearted and funny modern adaptation of Pride and Prejudice.

Are there any other books published in 2016 that you wish you would have read? Are you planning to read them in 2017?
Right now, I have 24 books published in 2016 on my TBR list. And the year's not even half over!

Here are just a few:

We Could Be Beautiful: A Novel
Girls on Fire
Shelter
The Sport of Kings
For a Little While
The Houseguest: A Novel

I'd better get cracking! You better believe I'm planning to read some in 2017!

Are there any books published in 2017 that you're looking forward to reading?
Maybe Can't Take My Eyes Off of You. It's the only one of interest that I've found so far, granted there are few titles available at this time. But I expect many on my TBR list by year end.

There are several and being that it is only May, I have lots of time to get to the ones that I haven't read yet, or that haven't been published yet. :-)

- Are there any books published in 2017 that you're looking forward to reading? I just heard that Veronica Roth is publishing a new book in 2017 so I will probably look into that when the time comes. I have several series that are overdue for new releases too so I will be waiting to see if any of those will be done in 2017 as well.

I want to read The Summer Before the War this year and maybe A House Full of Daughters: A Memoir of Seven Generations. But I tend to read books a few years after release because my TBR is so long.

Yes, I've a full shelf of 2016 books that interest me. I'll try to read some of them during the year but some are very expensive for the moment, so they'll probably end in the 2017 TBR (already filled with books published in 2017...).

For the moment: The Burning World (Warm Bodies #2), Head On (Lock In, #2), The Gatlon School for Vigilantes (new series by Divergent's author... maybe it's crap but I read Divergent series like I eat chocolate...). I hope there will be a Patrick Ness new book *_*

Marta (gezemice) | 859 comments I read Seven Brief Lessons on Physics. Someone suggested it on Litsy and I needed a short, easy nonfiction to break up my fiction reads.

I do not usually read new fiction books, I prefer to wait until there are enough reviews, plus, there are too many older books that I have not read. In nonfiction, however, I like the latest research/topics.

Litsy is influencing me, however, so a few I am interested in reading are The Girls (the book club selection), Lab Girl, Homegoing, Binti.

And yes, I want to desperately read The Winds of Winter as well, although not holding out much hope.

There are a bunch of books that are supposed to be published this year, or have pending publication dates. I will definitely be reading The Thorn of Emberlain as part of my list next year, and hopefully a few others. I feel like I am always behind schedule on reading books, but I enjoy reading books from the Goodreads Choice awards so I'll probably add some of the nominations and winners from this year too.
