What did you think about this book? Who is your favorite character? Whos perspective did you like hearing from the most?

So I read this book about a week ago but I CANNOT stop thinking about it. It was really an experience that I will never forget, and it actually made me want to pick up more middle grade books.

I really enjoyed reading from the POV of the younger children, it was interesting to see how they assessed different situations. Although, I loved hearing from Summer's perspective the most, the was so caring and really just a genuine person. My favorite character was August, I found myself thoroughly impressed by how strong of a character he was. I strive to be more like that.

I have never cried so much while reading a book, and i was definitely not expecting that AT ALL! I gave this book a 5/5 stars!
