The first day of SPRING is March 20th. Challenge ends when summer officially starts on June 21st.


Read to complete the word SPRING, by using either the first word of the title (A, An, and The don't count), or first or last name of the author. You may only use a book once for this challenge, but you may combine it with other challenges. Books DO NOT have to be mysteries, they can be from any genre.

Evelyn, what did you think of In the Woods? I read it a couple years ago, and enjoyed it up until about the last quarter of the book. I felt rather let down by the ending.

I've not read it yet. Several friends recommend the series. Maybe the ending was a set up for the second book in the series. I really prefer each book in a series as a stand alone. I'll let you know as soon as I'm finished.

Bonnie, I agree that In the Woods was not a cozy at all. I enjoy both cozy and hard mystery books, but I agree with Heather that I was a bit disappointed in the end. (I read it years ago when it was first published and have been leery of the rest of the series.)
