2025 Reading Challenge discussion

In this folder, you can add your very own discussion topic to track the yearly, quarterly, and monthly challenges you participate in for 2016. This is your space, and you can do whatever you like with it.

Sounds good! I'll move it over when we start archiving 2015 corners, unless you post here again and let me know you want it sooner than that.

Question - how long will our 2015 corners be available after the first of the year?

I do not want to move them over but I want to make sure my 2015 challenges are updated before you archive them. :)

I'm not exactly sure when we'll be moving them, but they don't get deleted, so you can always update your corner. You can check out what the archived corners look like here.

And just as a general tip, if you ever can't find your topic, you can search the group with your name ("Mary Pat") and then on the search results page choose "only topics" to find your stuff. That's why we recommend that everyone's challenges and corners have their name somewhere in the title.

When we decide on the timeline for archiving, I'll post again to let you know.

Is there a place where the member threads are listed alphabetically?

They do something similar on another group I'm in.

Oooh. That's a good idea. We do not do that here, but I love it! We will discuss it.

Sara, If you click on the discussion title, in this group it would be "2016 Member's Corner", Then it will take you to the topics in that thread. If you click on "Topics" It will sort the topics in alphabetical order.

Which topic did you want moved, Maiko? Can you give me the name of it. I see several topics with your name and I want to make sure I'm getting the right one.

So, I am new to the group as of October or so, and I still don't understand how this works. Can I add any thread I participate in here? How does that work? That would be very convenient as I find I am getting used to the chat and such but I lose track of where I have commented or where my threads that I start happen to be on the website.

Thank you for this! I honestly stopped posting in my feed cause I got tired of looking for it. True, that's really lazy, but when you are on here to relax, it gets a little old having to search for everything.

You create a topic that's all yours, and in it, you can post links to any of your comments or topics you've started if you would like.

Hi Leona! Do you mean the challenge widget that Goodreads runs? They should release the 2016 challenge on January 1st, and you'll need to sign up for that separately if you want Goodreads to track your challenge.

Lindsey, you can totally use your corner for challenges from other groups. That's not a problem at all. :)

You can use the "search the discussion posts" to find your name in the top left corner.
We suggest you bookmark posts you would like to keep track of.

And as for finding your way around, no worries. We are here to help!

Is it possible to have a corner not just for one year, but for several? Would you be willing to move it every year?

Felicia, we have no problem moving your corner for you! Some of our members do just that and use their corner every year.

I have an odd question and it might be too early to ask but I made a mess of my corner last year and would like to do place holders for challenges do you guys know how many yearly challenges we will have this year I know we usually do 2 quarterly 2 monthly but yearly I am not sure for this year.

Usually we aim for around 10 yearly challenges - it may end up being 9-12, but in that range for sure!

As a tip, you can hold a bunch of posts in your topic (more than you need), and then if you end up not needing them, you can delete the extra posts.

Is this the members corner thread for 2017? I followed the link from the new members but it says 2016 at the top.
