It's an American holiday. Canada also has their own Thanksgiving, but it's different, and they celebrate it in October, whereas Americans celebrate our Thanksgiving in November. We get together with our families and eat turkey and give thanks and watch football.

Exactly. And now we have Columbus day as well. I know that no one really celebrates it, but no one should take the day off school or work in recognition of something that Columbus didn't actually do. He didn't discover America. All he did was enslave the Native Americans and take their land. Stupid holidays.
