Lara E Brown (larasaurus) This was a great topic that came up during last night's episode of Literally Geeky - if we lived in a world where books became illegal, what one book would you save?

I still stand by my choice of The Hobbit. Aaron's clearly a thought thief.

Now that I've had more time to think it over, another book has crossed my mind as a possible candidate - The Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger.

For now, I'm sticking with The Hobbit though, just so Lara doesn't steal it.

Still Silmarillion, of course.

And we've been over this Lara, you can't have The Hobbit, Aaron has it. You may borrow it, but you have to pick another book. :P

Kelly (apockylypse) | 3 comments Jane Eyre or Pride & Prejudice. I usually read both of them once a year.

Lara E Brown (larasaurus) I'm telling you, I was thinking The Hobbit for at least ten minutes before Aaron STOLE IT FROM MY BRAIN.

I also thought about The Picture of Dorian Grey, which I do really love, but I'd only be saying it to appear somewhat classy. I want The Hobbit, dammit.

Too late. It's mine.

I'll be the most popular book hobo of all.

Lara E Brown (larasaurus) I have bacon. Trade?

Sorry, but in this dystopian future, bacon is everywhere. There's only one copy of The Hobbit. Mine.
