What did you think of it? Favorite or least favorite characters? Favorite or least favorite part?

Lauren (bookschief_managed) I loved it. Lauren Oliver is one of my favorite novels and I actually didn't hate or dislike the main character at all which is a nice change for me. I loved the characters, both good and bad and it was set at a good pace. I finished it in about a day xD

Sabrina (sabrina_paul) | 27 comments I just started this book today! I've read mixed reviews and my sister said it wasn't her favorite book by Oliver so I'm not sure what to expect from it.

message 4: by Colton (new)

Colton (justanotherbigglesworth) Oliver's first two books I read, Before I Fall & Delirium, I loved immensely. I cannot wait to read this book, so long as her trend of decent novels stays true.

Kelly Enos | 2 comments I liked Panic better than Olivers other books. I was impressed by the authors grasp of the claustrophobia of circumstance, and how the title relates to each of the characters in a personal way. I was nervous about the ending, fearing it would be abrupt or implausible, but it was neither given the natural way it flowed from the story.

Rachelle (mamachelle07) | 91 comments I wasn't a huge fan of this book. I much preferred Oliver's "Delirum" series over this. It just wasn't anything that I could even remotely relate to and it wasn't anything I'd want to get lost it. I know lots of different people read for lots of different reasons, but when I get to read I would rather read other books that are more of an escape from every day life. Not something that could truly happen with sick people in today's world (not saying this is a true story, but at the same time it's not too far fetched. Except the tiger part. I mean, seriously?). But again, that's just me. :) There were parts of the book I did enjoy, and I wanted to like it a lot more when I first picked it up.

Heather (crystalmirror) | 16 comments I liked this whole series. My daughter loved this series. I thought this series was great for teen-age girls to read.

Rae King (abookishgirl4) | 92 comments I'm almost one with this book and I've been enjoying the story and characters but I haven't gotten completely lost in it. like someone above said, I also read to escape everyday life and I love fantasy and dystopian novels best. but for a book about real people in a real life situation, I really like the book andcan relate to the characters.

April Sullivan | 2 comments I didn't love or hate this book. Although I have to say I liked all of Oliver's books better. I never had a I didn't see that coming moment, in fact I saw most of the twists before the book even revealed them. The ending of the book is what I liked the best, the only time I was a little on edge.

SM I had a hard time getting into this book but once I did I had a hard time putting it down. it wasn't my favorite by Oliver but still a good read.

Megan (megandurrence) | 9 comments I enjoyed reading this book, but I did fade out during some parts.

Paula (paulamarina) I've just finished reading it, and it was fantastic! I liked it more than Delirium (I didn´t like Delirium at all, and I still have to read the last one). I must say that I was expecting something similar to The Hunger Games (not a copy, because you can see from the descriptions that it has some differences). But it wass totally different from THG. Okay, the idea of the competition is similar, but anyway... It was totally different.
I liked all the characters, but I liked Nat most (she´s really similar to me). My favourite part was obviously the ending.

Jocylin Anthony | 4 comments I checked this book out from the library because I was afraid to buy it. Im glad I didn't, not because it was horrible, but because it just isn't one of those books you read more than once. It was set up pretty good and semi- realistic, I'd give it 3 stars maybe

message 14: by Jess (new)

Jess (myreadingdress) | 29 comments I'm undecided about this book and it seems that everyone else is too. Half rave and half slander. I just haven't been able to bring myself to read this because, well...I'm a name snob. And the name "Dodge" just doesn't cut it for me haha

arabella | 15 comments I loved this book. Heather was my favorite character and she seemed so brave and relatable. My favorite scene in the entire book was when Heather took her challenge. She so totally braved it and did NOT chicken out like I would've!

message 16: by Snow (new) - rated it 4 stars

Snow (Booklover12358) | 198 comments I didn't think it was as good as delirium. it was alright, just not my favourite book.

Krista | 97 comments I personally enjoyed the book. It was slow in parts but since I'm from a small town that I could totally see do something like this, I think I related to it better. I liked seeing the character grow over time but I did call some of the twists in this book way before they happened.

Second that!

message 19: by Emma (new) - rated it 4 stars

Emma It was a pretty good read, although not for people who are looking for something light. I personally enjoyed this novel and consider it a good, quick summer read, despite the heaviness of certain parts.

message 20: by [deleted user] (new)

I loved it. I liked how the character romance wasn't what you would expect, and I loved the way the characters grew throughout the story.

Julia Hörmayer I HATED THIS BOOK AND WAS SO DISAPPOINTED BY IT URRRRGH
