If I get a lot of good feed back, I be doing more of these in the future!

While finishing your scroll, Atropos singles out one of the girls in your group. She ask you to tell her where she is from, you can use only the information you have learned about her so far. Where do you think Lily is from:
A. Hawaii
B. New York
C.Louisiana
(Read a book that takes place in that state. Tell us if you have ever been there, or if you would ever go. Also, give us a small travel plan of what you would see while you are there.[At least three things])

I chose B: New York and read

When single mother Kate gets a call from the exclusive New York school that her daughter Amelia has been suspended for cheating she heads for the school. When she gets there the police are there and her daughter is dead. Over time and investigating Kate realizes that she didn't really know her daughter after all.
1. While in New York I would visit Broadway to see Phantom of the Opera
2. Ellis Island
3. Ground Zero/Freedom Tower
I have been to New York but have not visited any of the 3 places I mentioned and would love to go to NY again.

I live in NJ and have had more than enough of NYC so I would venture outside the city and visit Saratoga Springs Race Track followed by a trip through the Thousand Islands and ending with a hike through Adirondack Park.

I will be reading New York because I really want to visit Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty and Broadway since I love musicals. I have not been to NY yet in real life.

read 5/12/14 4♥
This series grows on me more and more I think. In this book there is a terrorist group blowing up historic buildings in NY. They have Greek mythological names and Eve has to figure out who is behind it before the city is destroyed. Also, the sexual tension between Peabody and McNabb finally reaches a boiling point.

Just go in the summer or you will be buried in snow.
I lived there for seven years. You will enjoy all of them, make sure you check out times square!

I picked New Your and read

I've done the big sight-seeing tour of NYC. I would like to go up in the Statue of Liberty though. I have been there 3 times and only had enough time to walk the island.
I just came from A Million Pages. I picked New York, and I will be reading
. I have been to New York City once, but I didn't have a chance to see all the tourist sites. Three things I'd like to visit in New York are:
1. the Statue of Liberty
2. Broadway, to see a Broadway show
3. the New York City Public Library
I finally finished this book on 07/12/14. Finally!!! I gave it 3 stars. Moving on to Quest 4!

Anyway, I live in NY and have been to the city many times. I like to
. Go to The Museum of Natural History (Dinosaurs!) and the Met (Roman, Egyptian and Middle ages rooms are the best)
. Go to Ellis Island and the statue of Liberty
. Concidently , I've never been to Central Park so that is one place that I'd like to go to soon

I selected "New York." I've been there before a couple of times.
Places I'd go … Times Square, Broadway, and Central Park
Book I plan to read -- this is my short list, so one of these four, depending one what I can get from my library :
Lethal by Sandra Brown
The Alienist by Caleb Carr
The Associate by John Grisham
Ragtime by E.L. Doctorow

I'm just now getting around to updating my post!

I've already been, but I was like 8, and don't remember much of it
1. I would like to attend a play on Broadway.
2. We watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade every year as a family and I think it would be cool to see it in person.
3. I'd like to visit the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.

Review: This is a cute book, I think. It's about a teenage girl who leaves home to be an actress and then discovers she is a faerie princess. I felt the romance-y bits were flat and undramatic, though I may not be the correct person to judge romance-y bits. I very much enjoyed the Shakespearean parts, but other than that I don't really know what to say about Wondrous Strange. It just kind of exists, I don't feel any different about my existence having read it.

I chose New York bringing myself here to Clotho
1. Definitely Broadway - choosing which play would be the problem
2. Afternoon in Central Park
3. The Met (love the museums :))
My Pick

I LOVE this book! Vishous is my favorite of the brothers and this book just makes me go all feels on the brother. He's been through so much in his life and finally having the chance with his shellan is just beautiful. So much of the goings on is revealed in this book and I love it all.

As to what I'd like to see in New York there are several places, but the first three that comes to mind are:
1. Times Square
2. Ground Zero
3. Rockefeller Centre

I selected New York because I have never been there or for that matter anywhere in the US. Because I have never been there before the list is endless but if I have to choose 3, it would be
Broadway
Times Square
Statue of Liberty

Review: I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book. When I recently started this series, I did not really dig into Z much and was always wondering why my friends loved this one..but after reading this, oh I have signed up into the I LOVE Z club! What I love best about this book is the depth of love and emotions that it portrays throughout and how through all that Z develops into the wonderful person that he is deep down. I love how Bella helps him get that confidence and how his love for her makes him realise that living in pain is not the only way to live but that he is capable of loving and CAN be loved as well, or rather is loved. The love between the twins is awesome. In short, this is a book that made me laugh, cry and want to whack people all at the same time.

Review:
I loved this book! I found it to be just what I needed as a funny, hilarious book. It was told from the male POV, which is fairly uncommon and I think part of what I enjoyed about it. I'd heard about this book for a while and finally picked it up from the library...now I need to read the rest of the series!
The story is told by Drew, our male MC, who is a total a-hole. He discards women left and right, but doesn't feel any remorse to how he acts because he doesn't lead anyone on...all the women who he hooks up with know exactly what they are getting in for, and he never hooks up with the same woman twice. I've known guys just like him in my life, and while he's not the "every day guy", there are plenty out there like him. Until he meets Kate....and he will do everything he can to win her over (initially because she's a challenge, but eventually because he falls in love with her).
I laughed throughout this book, partly at how stupid the male species can be...at the story telling (the MC talks to you, the reader, as if he's telling his story and tells it like it is), and at the interaction between the MC and the rest of the characters.
I'd compare the style a bit to Wallbanger or Seduction and Snacks, so if you liked those, you probably will like this as well. I read several reviews afterwards where people just didn't like the MC, and I can understand that, but the fact that I know guys just like Drew, I was definitely able to relate and I could buy into the story. Looking forward to when I can fit the next book of the series into my reading schedule.

I've been the NY several times, but never for long enough. I'd like to see the following:
1) Ellis Island Museum - the last time I was there I had a very brief visit, but not long enough. I'd like to see if I can find my hubby's grandparents names on the enshrined wall there.
2) September 11 Memorial & Museum - during my last visit, the memorial was still under construction so I'd like to see it now that it's complete. On my first visit to NY I visited the Twin Towers and stood at the top of one of the towers...just under a year later they were attacked.
3) Broadway - every time I've visited I have taken in some show....I'll see whatever looks interesting at the time!
