I absolutely LOVED this book. But I was a little confused and am wondering what your thoughts are. From what I recall.....Jared saw a boy kiss her before he left (i think), and saw her with her dad and mom when he came back home that summer. Just seeing that sparked all this hatred in him towards her and he just started bullying her from that one occurrence? I am just trying to understand his reasoning a little better as to why he feels the need to keep hurting her when he loves her so much. Would love to hear your thoughts!

I think I understand it better now, thanks! I am reading "Until You" and it's clearing up A LOT of questions I had.
At the beginning he hurt her cause he was jealous. Then as time moved on other guys started I guess liking her. So instead of going up to her and saying " You shouldn't go with him, go with me." He saw it easier to take other guys away from her by saying things about her even though he knew it wasn't true. But yet I don't get how he always says " Shes mine" all the time, while you have a girl in lap everyday. You say you always loved her but your going to have sex with other girls. That's just stupid. Hope there's people oh agree.
