Tony (mdfalco) Post-It Notes, not to miss anything I want to add in. Motivation is all about moving forward - I try and convince myself the work will be better, even when cutting and losing bits that have been a part of the work for so long they feel integral and indispensable.

Jennifer Priester (jenniferpriester) I'm probably the only one who needs no additional motivation because I actually love editing and revising my work. For me it's partly just the excitement of seeing the book get better with each change I make. Then there's also the fact that once I'm in this process it means my book is getting really close to being published.

Cool! That's much the same way I look at it. Especially the last part. I mean once you're in that stage truly, it means you're just about ready to take it to the presses! And THAT is an encouraging thought.

Baheya Zeitoun (baheyazeitoun) | 4 comments How do you get over writer's block? I haven't been able to write anything for weeks now and it's becoming a bit depressing.

A.G. (agkim) | 5 comments One thing that has been suggested to me was to read short stories. As for me, I think it helps sometimes to just daydream and wait for an inspiration.

May I ask what you write? This will help my answer for you.
