Is it The Pirate Lord by Sabrina Jeffries? The only other book that I can think off that slightly resembles is A Pirate's Love by Johanna Lindsey. If it's neither book you could try looking here: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/2...

OP says in another thread (now deleted) that this is from the 1980s.

1980's Boddic ripper where the herione is taken by a piarate to "his" island and he makes her body want him while she is saying "no" Her boyfriend arrives on the island to save her on the same night that she tries to escape is not Rosemaary Rodgers but one of the popular authors from the late 70's-80's
