Calvin L | 16 comments This book is the 2nd book to Rick Riordan's famous series "Percy Jackson". In the previous book the main character, Percy is framed for stealing Zeus' lightning bolt. However, the 2nd book's plot is hinted by the title. Throughout Greek mythology, the strongest and most fearsome titan is named Chronos, the timekeeper. Chronos has been locked inside the Tartarus Pit for as long as the gods have remembered. However, the followers of Chronos (the minor gods who want to gain power), want him revived to make Olympus fall. Percy's quest is recieved after the Oracle of Delphi foresees the place where Chronos is resurrected. His quest is to stop this so-called resurrection. His plan doesn't go accordingly when he is discovered on the ship and forced to fight his traitorous friend, Luke. In the end, his friend has to sacrifice himself in order to prevent the immediate resurrection of Chronos, and to destroy the followers of Chronos' main base of operations.

Nick L | 12 comments I read the first book a while back, but never read the second book. I always heard good things about it, though. Is it basically the same story line as the first book?

Justin G | 20 comments You clearly understand this book and its plot based on your review. Maybe I will pick this book up sometime and read it. I have a question however, what makes this book unique and would you recommend it to a friend.

Leor | 12 comments I don't like this. It sounds boring and I would not seem to enjoy it. I despise this genre and you. Just kidding, but I really would not read it. Sounds too complex and i would have trouble reading.
