Jason shrugged and walked up next to her, "Not really. Pizza is pizza to me. What about you?"
"Okay. I'm paying for both of us so get whatever you want.'
"Rude." He grumbled as he crossed his arms
"And I'm eighteen." She smiled back smugly. She turned to the lady who had walked up to them.
"Hello!" The waitress said brightly. "Would you like a booth or a table?"
Lauren looked to Jason. "Any preferences?"

Lauren looked to Jason. "Any preferences?"
"Booth!" He said as soon as Lauren was done talking.
The waitress laughed a little. "Alright. Follow me." She lead Lauren and Jason to a booth and set menus in front of them.
Lauren smiled. "Oh, we already know what we want."
The waitress smiled. "Alright." She grabbed her note pad and pen.
"Just a large cheese pizza and a few extra bread sticks."
The waitress wrote it down and put her pad back. "And for drinks?"
"Just water for me."
Lauren smiled. "Oh, we already know what we want."

"And yeah a coke for me!" Jason added quickly. This was hard to understand. Everything went so fast he had to be a ninja!
The waitress nodded. "Alright. I'll bring those right out." She walked away.
Lauren grinned. "I hope you like cheese pizza because it's the only kind I can stand to eat."
Lauren grinned. "I hope you like cheese pizza because it's the only kind I can stand to eat."
"I like most pizza so don't worry." He said simply
"Mkay." Lauren sensed an awkward silence coming. "So, why don't you leave the haven? I mean, you must be able to control your powers by now."
"I can but I don't want to learn anything more." He admitted as he leaned back against the seat
"I don't want to learn any of the stupid magic." He said dryly
Lauren didn't really know what to say to that. Luckily the waitress came with the drinks and bread sticks at that moment. She set them on the table, along with some straws. Lauren thanked her.
Jason sighed. He was glad that the mystics stayed in the Haven. Not all mystics were good. There were some that went out of their way to be nice but others lived to make people miserable. He didn't want to be a part of that. He wanted to understand his magic, then, once he knew what not to do, ignore it for the rest of his life.
Lauren grabbed a bread stick and took a bite out of it. "Well, I'm pretty much out of topics... I'm not used to have normal conversations with mythicals..."
"If you weren't a Hunter then what would you be? Like what would you do for a living?" He asked as he sipped his drink
She shrugged. "I don't know." She said haltingly. "I've pretty much been a Hunter for since I can remember..."
"I was going to be a doctor... Or something like that. Maybe I would write. Most people would be glad to have powers and stuff but... This just halted my life..." He sighed. "Anyway..."
Lauren nodded. "I know how that feels. I was on a field trip when a were wolf decided to come to town and lead me to the haven..."
((I dono how he got to the haven so ima make something up))
"I was at a church when it all really happened..
But that's not the point... So... How long has it been since you've seen your family?"

((Lol! Okay. Gtg))
"It's been a while... I have been so focused on hunting that I never really think of them..."
"It's been a while... I have been so focused on hunting that I never really think of them..."
((Okay!! Bye!))
He sighed. He hadn't seen anyone since he was kicked out for being a demon. He looked at the table and took a pizza. "Hm."

Lauren thought about her parents and how worried they must have been when she disappeared. They probably thought she was dead now! She was a little surprised when her eyes started to well up with tears. She took another bite of the bread stick and closed her eyes, trying to hide the tears.
He blinked and watched her closely. He didn't mean to make her sad. He handed her a napkin slowly and looked down. Yeah he was never good when something like this happened.
Lauren opened her eyes and saw the napkin. She took it and dabbed her eyes, making sure that no tears ran down her face. "Sorry... I never realized how much I missed my family..." She said quietly.
"Sometimes its best not to think." He said softly. "There is no need to be sorry." He assured her as he sipped his coke. He was hungrier than he realized.
"So why only cheese?" He asked suddenly, not wanting them to fall into a silence. He hated the silence so he would just keep talking
Lauren shrugged, thankful for the comment. "Unless they have a menu where I can special order the weirdest pizza they've ever seen, it was the only kind I like that they serve..."
"Oh... Weird. I mean I'm okay with cheese but I have no problem with the others... Kinda like cherry tomatoes."
Lauren made a face. "Ew... Cherry tomatoes are gross."
((That was hard for me because I love cherry tomatoes))

((I do too!!))
Jason nodded, "I know!" It was like eating an eyeball. He shuddered a little and made a face
Jason nodded, "I know!" It was like eating an eyeball. He shuddered a little and made a face
"What's so funny?" He asked curiously as he sipped his drink again
"What look? This is just my face!" He frowned a little as he leaned back
"Neither can I but then again I just met you so I guess that doesn't mean much. But its good for your face to smile.' He nodded
Jason scowled a little, "Like this? It wouldn't be nice like this all the time."
