Short Stories, Twice every week

The Idea came to me after seeing a discussion between Gehna and Arpit. It's like this... Every week on Sunday and Thursday any one of us is going to propose a Short Story which he/she finds fascinating, to others.

Others will read the story and give us their valuable feedback on the same( It's a must !! Otherwise no FUN ! ) before the next proposal of course .

Today is monday.. So if not too much burden.. I'm proposing a Short Story by Jerome K Jerome The Love of Ulrich Nebendahl .

Sorry.. forgot to share the experience.

Loved it.. Everyone of Poe's stories has a hint of dark sarcasm and this one is also not an exception. I don't know if it was meant to be amusing but the part where the guy kills his father I was unable to control my shrieks...

Should I propose a Story on the same theme but with a serious note.. Horla or The Modern Ghosts by Franz Kafka.

The Story also starts with a madman( who fails to understand the fact that actually he is losing grip to the reality )to whom the world appears to be an open asylum ... But as the story progresses you will question your own senses and will think twice before calling the main character a Madman..
