Indiabookstore | 38 comments Indifference, always. Hate means you have strong feelings to the object that can always be changed. Indifference means you've stopped caring. It is the absence of any feeling, while love and hate are both two versions of having strong feelings.

Bloodyhell “But that was just it - hate was exactly the right word. Hate is a force of attraction. Hate is just love with its back turned.”
― Terry Pratchett, Maskerade

I think it's indifference. The only way one can stop loving a person and do the opposite it by being indifferent towards that person - not caring about him, whether he lives, what he does etc. I agree with Indy, that hate is afterall a strong emotion, so it can't be opposite to love.

Melissa Ramirez (melissaramirez) | 241 comments I'd say indifference.
It's one of the scariest concepts, in my opinion actually. To have no feelings whatsoever...just gives me chills.

Jojobean Indifference, which is probably the most hurtful "feeling" in the world someone can have towards another person.
