I have only read the first book of The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

I've read Hunger Games, and FSOG. Between my son and daughter, one or the other has read Captain Underpants, Hunger Games, Perks of Being a Wallflower, and Bone. So our household has read 60% of the books on the list. Not bad. :)

Pretty good list, I must say. A few of those are on my to read list.

The Hunger Games?! That one I don't get. My son used to read Captain Underpants & he turned out just fine thank you. Peeks of Being a Wallflower & the one by the author of A Fault In Our Stars are 2 of my daughters' favorites... Everybody has read a book that's "unsuitable for the age group" so really, what does that mean? I remember finding my aunt's copy of the Joy of Sex when I was 12. I'm good, thanks. ;p I'm now sitting here & shaking my head.

I've only read one from the list and it's The Perks of Being A Wallflower lol.

I don't see any book on the list that I would read, but I don't believe in banning any book at all.

I'm not generally in favour of banning books - for one thing that just makes them more appealing to most teens! However, personally speaking, from the extracts I've seen online & comments from friends, I'd ban E L James '50 Shades of Grey' not for the 'porn' but for the appalling writing!
