Also Tella isn't annoying me as much lately, but I wanted to scream at her at the start of the race! I mean I understand she was scared and wasn't thinking straight, and it is nice to see that Victoria Scott isn't making her a "perfect" character, but the running away seriously annoyed me! However I do like books that provoke a reaction out of me, and i'm hoping this race will help Tella's growth as a character.
I'm loving the plot so far, and I know this will sound weird, but the lack of friendliness by all the characters. I thought that when she met the serial killer guy, it would be the typical "make allies straightaway" scenario, but that definitely didn't happen! You can tell that the majority of the contenders have one goal in mind, and making friends isn't one of them!
So far I'm enjoying this book, and I hope it continues this way, and Tella finds at least one blue flag!

I just finished chapter 10 too! I want my own Madox so much! I think that guy will end up being an ally, and he sounds too good to have not known he was being followed. I like that they're on their own for now, though, because it should make a strong bond between Tella and Madox. I can't wait to find out what he can do!

Yeah, I can see them becoming allies, but I agree with you, I like that Tella and Madox are bonding!
When Madox was in the egg, I was very curious what animal he was going to be.. I thought maybe he was going to be an unusual animal as Tella kept referring to the strange smell coming off the egg, so I was very surprised at him being a fox! However, do you think the strange smell could have something to do with Madox's power? It would link with why Tella keeps mentioning it.

Maybe. Her description of the smell put me off, I don't think I'd be carrying a sour smelling egg around with me for days. It could be an indication that he's special in some way, or maybe he's a bad pandora!

Madox is adorable as per usual, I'm glad he is a powerful Pandora but worried that he's in a lot of danger! Especially with Titus and his bear Pandora sniffing around!
I hope this book keeps carrying on as it is now, because I'm quite enjoying it at the moment :)

I'm loving her relationship with Madox and OMG how cute he is!!! The pandoras are my favourite thing of the book so far, it makes me want one.
I like Guy I think he is really cool and really enjoy how their relationship is taking its time. It's not too rushed and it's not the "love at first sight and they are completely in love for ever and ever" super quickly like in other books.

I'm pleased with Caroline's decision, that's definitely for the best. I expect Titus and his new friends to do something horrific soon, and I'm interested to see how Ransom turns out. So much just happened I'm jumping straight into part 3!

Tella is not as annoying now although she is still to needy for my liking but I guess I would be as well in her situation. Im loving her & guys relationship its nice to not have insta love etc. and just see to people slowy getting closer. Titus needs sorting out im actually worried about maddox round him!
Loving the other characters as well cant beleive what happens to levi (i think) :( them men following them are freaky. Cant wait to read the last section now

First off i'm in love with maddox and i think i'm going to draw him xD
It kind of annoyed me how quickly she was to judge harper based on the way she looks, she hasn't really annoyed me yet though i was annoyed with their pandoras for wanting to hurt madox i was like NO. NO. NOT OKAY.
Still enjoying this ^_^

I laughed so hard on page 67 when Tella is thinking to herself that Guy should crack is thumb! Hysterical.
Was surprised in the beginning with the eggs and even more surprised to find out that when they hatch they are animals! Would never in a million years have seen that coming.
Of course I love Maddox and I love that Tella loves him.
Upon first meeting Harper I am not sure if we can trust her. I do like that she is a strong female in the story, as Tella has yet to really step up to the plate. But she's getting there and it has been nice to see her growth, albeit slow.
Really worried about Maddox and the other Pandoras picking on him. I wanted to smack all their owners in the face for not doing anything to help right away!
Favorite quote: "My God. I am in the epicenter of hell, and I'm trying to psychoanalyze some guy."
Favorite part: On page 146 when Titus grabs Tella. Holy Mother!

I absolutely loved Tella's sass. Her sarcasm and wit is what made me like her, and made me laugh out loud more than once.

The point about not becoming allies (and falling in love!) immediately is so true!! And I also loved the whole Pandora thing! So clever!

YESS!! Draw Madox please!! :D I just read the bit with Harper and that annoyed me so much too! There was no need to hate her. It was really weird!

I didn't expect them to be animals either! I was imagining them holding a message or something (like the golden egg in Harry Potter). Loved the cracking the thumb bit too! I keep getting annoyed by Tella...then she makes me laugh and I like her again :)

I can't decide whether or not Tella will win the race though?
I suspected Madox's ability but it's still really really cool! I just LOVE the pandoras!

Totally agree, Sarah! I'm liking her more as the novel progresses :)

NOO!! I love Levi...I felt like he and Ransom were the Fred and George of this novel!!
I hate Titus!!! And I found it a little bit annoying when Tella thought the bear eating the rabbit was gross but has been eating meat throughout the entire book...do you know what you are eating, love? ;)
