Talk about what you are currently writing! Whether it is a novel or short story or whatever genre it is in!

Pamela (pamelaalvarado) | 24 comments Oh geez. :3 I have three novels going on, but I know if I don't focus on one then I'll never finish any of them, so right now I'm working on one I've decided to call, Of Stars and Willows. I'm still trying to figure out the main plot as I write. (It's annoying writing towards a conclusion you don't even know yet but meh ;D) Since I want it to leave at least one moral message, I settled for sticking up for oneself and growing a backbone. I do know though, that at the end two baby girls will be born ant these babies of doom are.... (view spoiler)

I used to have that problem too and start a bunch of novels I couldn't finish. Do you outline your novels? To be honest, I don't xD I mainly wing it and let the story take the course it wants to. I really want to leave a moral message in my story too :)
For the story I'm working on, i skipped the whole middle plot. That might sound weird, but it's true. I have the beginning and end so I'm working on the middle which is pretty hard so far. How many words do you have for that story? :3

Pamela (pamelaalvarado) | 24 comments It's the one I have 14300 more or less. It's like, I know how the story begins and, I know how I want it to end, but I don't have the slightest idea of how to get there! For my first draft of another story, I had the same problem, and thought I'd never finish it, but eventually it all just like connected in my head and everything made sense. It was like literary illumination :P

I don't ouline them either! I feel a little nervous because of skipping that step . And it isn't for lack of trying. I did outline one but then I felt like I was too... limited. What if I changed my mind and suddenly didn't want this or that to happen? So now I don't do it because it just doesn't work for me *shrug* To come up with the next scene I usually try to envision how a movie of it would look like and if I like a certain scene, then I try to write it as awesomely as possible. Listening to music also triggers scenes :3 So that's why my middle is a lot of little scenes scattered around that I'll need to stich together soon.

That's pretty good! Have you ever done NanoWrimo before? I'm doing the camp one right now and it's helping so much! I have a problem with editing my work and deleting words all the time. But during Camp, it's slightly pressured and so you really want to do good and write the words :D

I did try to outline one story but as I was writing it, it really changed. Sometimes while I'm writing I get the ideas of what should happen in the end! Yeah. I need to do a lot of stitching :P

Pamela (pamelaalvarado) | 24 comments Ha ha! Hooray for non-outliners! As Yelena from Poison Study would say: It's the rush-into-it-and-hope-for-the-best method :D

Yep, last november was my first time but I failed miserably u.u LOl I was just super busy at the time and roleplaying kept distracting me so yeah. But this time, each time I want to write I use my other laptop that is a little crazy because internet doesn't work there so that works to my advantage since I don't have the temptation to check goodreads there :P

Yeah. I don't think i would be able to do it in November because it seems like a pretty busy month. And that's cool! My sister took my laptop so i always have to write on a desktop which is kind of inconvenient.

Pamela (pamelaalvarado) | 24 comments Aw, I'm sorry for your back. When I write I'm like worm. Really, ha ha. I can't stay still, so I imagine it must be pretty unconfortable just sitting.

Wow! That's great :D Do you know what you'll be majoring in? I'm so far from college :P

Pamela (pamelaalvarado) | 24 comments International Business. :D Sadly, here there is just one college that offers Creative Writing and, I'd have to move to the capital for that so... Business it is. :D
