The moral of this book is that you have to stick to what you love in the toughest of times. It's easy to do what you love when your life is perfect, but what really counts is what you choose to do when your life isn't so perfect. Frederich, Mike, and Ivy all figure this out in the end, and they grow to accept the ups and downs of life. Everyone's life is equally difficult, but it seems more difficult to those who let go of their passions.
