SCAREDY CAT discussion

Hi all. I don't believe in ghosts, angels, demons, gods fairies, elves, trolls, leprechauns, sasquatch, or aliens.

Yet I get a kick out of reading about them!

Just wondering how many here are believers/non-believers?

I believe in Rock & Roll, a good smoke, and The Florida Lottery. ;)

I think I have a better chance of seeing a leprechaun than winning the lottery (and I almost spelled it ¨Leprochaun¨¨......some of you writers can take that scary idea into any direction you'd like!).

Well, truth be known, I could play the lottery every week for 10,000 lifetimes and not even come close to a jackpot win. The odds are so astronomical that even Spock can't calculate the damned things, but it's nice to dream. I spend about $3 a week to dream.

I spend 8, can´t win if you don´t play. Started playing just when I moved out here, though people here like to kvetch that you have to live ¨ out in East Cupcake¨ to win!

Actually, your odds of finding a winning jackpot ticket are nearly the same whether you have one stick to your shoe when walking to your car after work or actually buying one at the grocery store. That's how bad those odds are; bad for the player, GREAT for the entity running the game.

But how many here actually believe in the paranormal/supernatural?

I've seen too many horror movies and with that being said, I believe there are things/beings out there that we cannot see.
And when I screw up..."the devil made me do it"!

I don't believe in ghoulies or ghosties, but long-leggity beasties scare the piss out of me.
All joking aside, I do believe in some of the super- or preternatural things, but vampires, werewolves, and faeries of various ilk (leprechauns included) are humbug of the first water. Have met a few folk I would swear are changelings, though.

You can see them? All of them?
