Who should have Harry married

Cool, but oh well, I don't ship H/Hr, but I could have gone that way, I suppose.

I honestly always thought that Hermione would've been a better match for Harry, but after watching all the movies and books I think Hermione and Ron was the best match they are great together and I think Harry and Ginny was perfect! I really respect with what JK Rowling went with I think it was a great choice!

I think Harry got married, so JKR could show even more, that Harry loves, in contrast to Ol' Voldy.
Although him remaining unmarried and continuing to save the world from other Dark Lords would be a nice ending of course, he would have a hard time settling down.

You have a good point, although that qualifies for a lot of characters, such as it could also be said for H/Hr or H/G or even H/D (the shipping is horrendously popular).
I think they would have made a nice (and adorable) couple.

I think that Ginny was the perfect match for Harry & I support Rowling's decision 100%!
To me Harry and Hermione is an absolute NO! They are like siblings!! They grew up together and I never saw a romantic click (and Ron and Hermione are perfect)!!
I somewhat support Harry and Draco but I think Ginny is a better fit for him!

Harry and Cho could have potentially worked.
While Cho and Harry went out, the main problem was, that Cho was still interested in Cedric. I do understand, that she wanted information about him, but she was still in love with him, which meant the relationship didn't work.
If she hadn't still had feelings for Cedric, it could have potentially worked.
The problem with Marietta, well, that's a story for another day.

As for Luna, a lot of people think Luna and Harry would have been good together, but I disagree with that. I think their friendship is one of those pure ones, deep and instant for Luna, because that's how she is, and Harry cared about her a lot, too, but she was a bit weird for him. Her weirdness was what made her loveable and favorited by readers, but I don't think Harry was a fan of that sort of weird, at least not in someone as a romantic choice. Had anyone else ended up with her, I would have liked Ron to have, because she grows on him at some point and I think that might have been a fun relationship.
As for Cho, I felt bad for her situation. The handsome and talented Cedric Diggory asked her out like 2 seconds before famous Harry Potter who was goo goo for her a year before... I felt her going out with him after Cedric died was inevitable, since Cedric was the "wall" between them, but because she already chose him and didn't really have time to get over him before rebounding on Harry (yes, rebound, partly because Harry is Harry and partly because she was curious about Cedric's death). Even if Cedric hadn't been in the picture, seeing what sort of relationship she expected, (the love teashop which Harry thought horrible and he wasn't this cool, suave older guy), I think it would have just been awkward and stiff the whole time and they would have split up eventually anyway, though possibly on friendlier terms.
Ginny is the only person I am totally satisfied Harry ending up with. Harry is surrounded by so many cool people, so many strong and tough and brave girls and women, but Ginny accepted his role when no one else could; even Hermione was determined to keep Harry away from Voldemort. Ginny didn't like his choice to break up with her but she understood and took it bravely, honorably, and without fear that there was a childish reason behind it. And better, Ginny didn't mope and lie down because Harry didn't like her at first; she dated other people, and when Harry broke up with her, she teamed up with friends to go against Snape's regime.
While Hermione, Cho, and Luna are all fantastic girls who would be great girlfriends and wives, I think Ginny is the only one that could make Harry happy.

Well, Ginny is kinda perfect for him... Hermione & Harry are too serious together, and Luna needs someone more like her, Cho is TOO sensitive. Maybe if Cedric wasn't in the pciture (or his absense in the air), it would have been different.
But with Ginny, he not only has love, he becomes part of the Weasley family and family was his most desperate wish deep inside.

Also, I don't really understand the Harry and Luna ship. Harry liked Luna, but he never really understood her. How is that a good pair? Luna understood Harry, but that's because Luna understood everyone. She was just that type of person.

Agreed, I never felt it either. I ship Luna with him though, I just felt this gentle, warm and giddy feeling everytime they talked/had moments together, it felt like true understanding love between them. Cho wouldn't have been a good choice because she was way too sensitive and didn't try to understand Harry and the way he thinks. She was always wallowing in self-pity and crying all the time. Harry didn't try to understand her and her feelings either so that relationship would never have worked out. Hermione and Ron are an awesome couple so I have no problems with that but IF Ron didn't exist then I would have rooted for Hermione to end up with Harry otherwise I think Hermione is perfect for Ron. I didn't like Ginny at all because of her attitude towards Ron and having relationships. She was childish and incredibly rude towards Ron who only cared for her well-being and wanted her to go out with a person he saw as perfect for her so I found her to be annoying and disrespectful. To be honest, the way Ron is treated by all his siblings is extremely heart-wrenching for me but that's a story for another day. I didn't see any problems in the relationship between Harry and Luna and I felt that they understood each other and were happy together so I believe Harry should have married Luna. The choice of not marrying anyone would've been interesting and cool as well. This is just my opinion though so I hope it didn't offend anyone as it was not my intention to do so. :)

“I didn’t want anyone to talk to me,” said Harry, who was feeling more and more nettled.
“Well, that was a bit stupid of you,” said Ginny angrily, “seeing as you don’t know anyone but me who’s been possessed by You-Know-Who, and I can tell you how it feels.”
Harry remained quite still as the impact of these words hit him. Then he wheeled around.
“I forgot,” he said.
“Lucky you,” said Ginny coolly.
Harry saved Ginny was she was 11, but I think that Ginny also saves Harry from himself a lot of the time. Hermione and Harry have seen too many vulnerable sides of each other--they are best friends, not lovers. And Harry and Luna have great respect for each other, but I could never see them being romantically involved with each other.

(You can check many posts and fanfics which tell WHY it is Hinny, not Harry with Hermione or Luna or anyone else)
HERMIONE but I also love ginny .... and I think it was meant to be
I think Ginny and Harry were meant to be.
Yeah. They remind me of Ariel and Eric...
I think Ginny and Neville, Luna would be single, Harry is with Fleur when she is younger, Ron is with Cho, and Hermione is with Percy. I dunno, I just think this way is the way I imagined everyone. . .
I feel like it should be Harry & Ginny, Ron & Hermione, and Luna & Neville...
