Alice Don't read if you haven't read it and/or don't want it to be spoiled. :-P

(view spoiler)

Emily It was amazing!!! I dont want to spoil anything but OMG it was fabulous!!!

Diane I was surprised. Several unexpected twists which worked well.

Ovidio Perez I will miss the person who we all know died at the end, willing to sacrifice himself towards the rabid monsters on the boat. Other than that this series will be greatly missed. It is my forever song may it last for an eternity. Also to Zeke, you are my forever boy will always love you no matter the type of monster you become. Forever missed may it sing a melody of love and happiness... <3

Tara I loved the ending, although it was bittersweet after the death of a certain character and the leave of another. But I'm so glad Julie didn't pull a VR and gave us a HEA. :)

Melissa I don't know, I think this book kinda felt dull next to the immortal rules and the eternity cure. I fell in love with the two first ones and this one just didn't measure up. I wasn't entirely disappointed but lets just say I wasn't completely satisfied either.

Diane Tara, I completely agree with you.

Katie Smith omg! I loved the ending. I was really sad wen "he" died. I wish Julie would write another book on Allie and zeke traveling tighter. oh and have Jackel in it. I don't know why but I loved his character.

Tara I would kill for Julie to write us a spinoff about Jackal, I can't get enough of him!

Katie Smith I agree Tara. A story about jackal would be awesome!

Maria I loved it! I was suprised by the ending. But if the author writes a spinoff about Jackal, then I might actually read it. Usually, I don't read spinoffs (I have no clue why) but I would be interested in reading about him. It's funny how I hated Jackal in the beginning and now I really like him. I would also like to know what he was like before he became a vampire and why he shut his humanity off.

Alice Haha I never hated Jackal! Even in Immortal Rules, despite his cruelty he added comic relief right from the start.

Cyana Scriptora I agree I hated jackal in the beginning but he is so funny and the whole brother sister dynamic is hilarious poor Kanin and his forever feuding children and I really liked the ending zeke kicked butt and really became the leader we all knew he could be I think I really enjoyed the series because it was not cliche at all and the plot twisted and intriguing kudos to Julie for an amazing series...

I agree. I think Jackal was awesome.

Renae I agree with Melissa and Eveline. I felt like there was something missing for this one. it was still great though, all that gore and fighting... and then Zeke turns up. Maybe that's why it didn't feel right for me. I've disliked Zeke from the start so I was kind of hoping Sarren had just killed him for good.
I think this time, the whole book was predictable. There were no surprises. The end was okay if not a little too happy (apart from Kanin dying, of course.)

So, overall, It was a bit disappointing but Julie can make it all better if she writes a spin-off with Jackal.

Jennifer It was perfect! Except I was so sad about Kanin but it was an honorable death.

Lynn Eveline, I thought there was something there too, but I guess we'll never know now... :|

I think he like Allie because he saw the hope she has... for so long it was only him with that hope. All the other vampires hated him because of what he did and than comes along Allie with that hope Kanin was loosing. That's what I saw with Kanin and Allie.

Lee Just finished this what a good read

I liked the ending Julie got it just right, I usually dread the ending in
serials as the writer so often makes a total mess of it. Its either too
rushed or turns into an ending thats over the top, a slushy romantic tale
thats out of step with the rest of the books.

I would also like to see a follow on book to catch up with everyone
especially Jackel, what devine irony if Jackel had left only to fall
hopelessly in love with a pretty `blood bag`and could not live
with out her. I so liked his character even when he was being awful.
There is definatly a good story to him yet to be told

☽Ƹɱɱɑ☾ I want the old Zeke back :'(

I agree with you. :)

Karlein Defs a very bittersweet ending but I loved it all the way. I particularly love the part where Zeke says "I love you vampire girl and forever is exactly what we have " - can't remember the exact wording, but it made me go awwwwww

Sasha I LOVE Jackal. He's so funny, and everything he says is at least partially true.
Okay, I expected more from The Forever Song, but it's still awesome!
When Kanin jumped I was all, "awwww Don't do this! No! Please no! aaaa"
And I hated when Zeke became that weak, sobbing punching bag. Where's the spirit? I want that human back!! At least, he is better in the end.
I wonder what happens now that there's a cure, and humans know about vampires...

Tanie I loved the ending!!! It was so sweet. I'll missed Allison and Zeke. I loved them. My heart was beating the whole time reading the book, I didn't want Zeke to leave Allison again. They've been through a lot. In life you go through a lot of ups and downs, you can kind of break down and lose faith. I'm glad it worked out for both of them. Trust me, Zeke was still the same Zeke even towards the end.

I want more of them!!! If Julie ever decided to continue the book, I'll buy it in a heartbeat. I would like to see the human side/vampire Zeke after Eden. :)

Tanie Katie wrote: "omg! I loved the ending. I was really sad wen "he" died. I wish Julie would write another book on Allie and zeke traveling tighter. oh and have Jackel in it. I don't know why but I loved his charac..."

YES!!!!!! I'm not alone. I was telling myself, this can't be it. There are still many cities and stories outside to explore. What about the vampire cities and rulers? We need to know more haha. I want to see Allie and Zeke's journey after Eden and maybe encounter Jackel on the way.

Amanda That would be awesome if there could be another book! I loved this series so much! It is definitely one of my absolute favorites, plus I don't think it's possible for Julie Kagawa to write a book I won't love lol. I think a book specifically for Jackal would be amazing because Jakal is awesome and I think pretty much everyone loves him. My favorite book was the second one, the third was good but I kind of wished it would have been a bit longer. I agree with everyone else though the ending was amazing and I'm sad to see the series end :(

I love him so much. I want more of him.
