What do you do when can't seem to enjoy a book you were so excited about?

I feel like the momentum kinda fell flat. From the characters to the plot to everything. The resolutions weren't even that good. I don't think I even understood where Liam and Ruby stood at the end.
I wanted the book to be memorable. A trilogy I could look back and say Wow thAt was great. And I don't feel like I can really do that.
Now I don't know if this has anything to do with why you're in a slump, but I just wanted to tell you my perspective on this particular book,. I'm not really surprised it out you in a slump.
For me, I always like to power through books, especially conclusions. If you don't really care about that, then just stop! It can't hurt. Go pick up something completely different in genre, style...everything!
And if you are like me and want to power through, I recommend taking out a favorite book and reading a chapter or two, or one of your favorite passages. Whether it's a funny book, or something super sappy and cute, just do something to leave ITA alone for a while.

It helps to know I'm not the only one who can't enjoy this book as much as the previous two. Seeing the high rate this book got here on GR, I really thought there was something wrong with me .-.
I started reading another book and after having some trouble with the first pages, probably due to my reading slump with ITA, I'm now enjoying reading again *-*

Anyway, I wanted to know, what do you do when something like this happens to you? Do you force yourselves to keep reading the book? Or maybe you take a break, read some other book and then get back to your "problematic" book? Or you just give up and never finish it? Any advice?
I'm afraid that if I stop reading it now, I will never finish it which is a pity because as I said before I enjoyed the previous books!
