Iulmi | 2 comments Okay, this is all I remember from the book.

It starts with at least two men searching the way to travel through dimensions or worlds(or something like that). And it's like they search a scientific method of doing magic. And they find it, the method. Then, a man is send to a parallel world, with a medieval setting (I think his friend goes also). There, he goes through some adventures, and finds a female knight/warrior, and he will be her companion. They will fall for each other eventually. Also, a detail that I remember is that this warrior is worried she doesn't act as a lady.

In that world, he can sometimes do magic. They found the magic laws of the world, like if they were the gavity laws. So, he tries to get back to his world, and he finds the way. He brings the woman with him.

But that doesn't appear in the books, since it has a sequel. It's at least a pair of books. I didn't read the second one, but it's a hint. The book was kind of old, published before 2000 for sure.
