Sue | 1296 comments Brill. Me too. Having a day trying to sort my 2016 reading out - leaving my current brilliant read festering on the settee (Orhan's Inheritance)!

message 6: by [deleted user] (last edited Dec 28, 2015 02:52PM) (new)

I have ideas for most of the easy letters - still looking for X, Y, Z and a few others. When I get time I'll list a few of my ideas for you to look at and see if they appeal at all.

My challenge is here

message 7: by Sue (new)

Sue | 1296 comments Seen Zade, which I quite like the look of! Have a few other letters but not X or Y!!!!

message 8: by [deleted user] (new)

That sounds pretty good - I might have to pinch that one!

Good luck both of you. Feel free to check my completed list for ideas. :)

I wasn't planning to because I've got several unfinished challenges but now you've made me feel guilty... plus I'm currently reading Centurion so it seems a shame not to use it!

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

Go on Kate, you know you want to! The more people doing it, the more ideas floating around :)

message 13: by Kate, Moderator (new)

Kate | 1633 comments Mod
Ok. I've set up my thread again ready for the new list!
We'll get through it together! :)

message 14: by Sue (new)

Sue | 1296 comments Glad you're in Kate! I've got unfinished challenges too. 3 more for USA and 2 to complete English counties, then there is Wales, N Ireland and Scotland!

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

I also have unfinished challenges - still doing USA, UK and ATW . I can't resist a challenge!

I'm really keen to finish Around the World this coming year. I've got 27 to go so it is possible. This may take a bit of a back seat to that but I'm game!

message 17: by Sue (new)

Sue | 1296 comments Still travelling and doing the olympic challenge - countries that took part in the olympic games. Completionn for games in 2016. Will be lucky to get a bronze medal (countries that got gold) at the rate Im going.

Wow I admire you for going beyond the 80! I can't imagine wanting to go any further but that view may changes once I actually finish and get curious about the places I haven't visited!

I could do. It would help me get down the TBR better if I freed up those slots in the general A-Z.

Sue | 1296 comments D. Dregs (William Wisting #6) by Jørn Lier Horst . Good story. First of the William Wisting series set in northern Norway. Not so cold in this one but plenty of murders (not too violent). Nice father/daughter relationship.

message 37: by Sue (last edited Mar 09, 2016 09:56AM) (new)

Sue | 1296 comments T. Twilight by William Gay . Southern semi gothic apparantly. Good, but overlong with tiny print. Got me a USA state too!

message 38: by Sue (new)

Sue | 1296 comments G. Gingerbread by Robert Dinsdale . Also got me Belarus. The last part was really good. Interesting story and history.

message 39: by Sue (new)

Sue | 1296 comments P. Pollard by Laura Beatty Difficult story about Anne, who at 15 leaves home and goes to live in the woods. There follows the encroachment of the town on the natural environment and how Anne copes with it.

message 40: by Sue (new)

Sue | 1296 comments F. Frozen by Richard Burke Verity is found at the bottom of a cliff near Beachy Head. Her childhood friend Harry is determined to find out what happened. The story of their childhood is interwoven with the present. Enjoyed it.

Sue | 1296 comments I. Ignorance by Milan Kundera . Going home from exile presents a number of problems. In this case returning to the Czech Republic after the wzll comes down. Loved it!
