Lol, somehow we have to decide the first author. I don't suppose it even needs to be the same book, just an author. The authors that overlap btwn our three suggestions are Robert McCammon and Stephen King. Why don't we decide btwn those?

I'm happy with either, I think we'll still get a lot of the same authors whoever we pick. :)

Okay, looks like Robert McCammon is our starting author. If you want to participate, start with any book by him and then let the literature 'cloud' take you where it may! This should be a neat way to check out different authors.
The challenge has begun!
Side note: I think it would also be fine if participants want to start with a different author. Maybe McCammon's not your style ;) Feel free to start a different trail!

Yes it is. I'm keen to see how he handles the sadistic schoolmaster. :)

I sucked it up and spent the $12.99 for the ebook, so I'll be starting this challenge with Queen of Bedlam as well. I've read the first few pages, good old Matthew Corbett is back!

It's a big book. I found it on kindle unlimited. I'm looking forward to it. I've started it. It has started out in a direction I didn't expect. Kind of political right now.
I was debating which book to start because I was also looking at a few others of his books,

I finally finished my first book of this challenge! McCammon's The Queen of Bedlam was absolutely awesome! Now to decide what comes next!
Finished a novella by the second author, Brian Keene's The Girl on the Glider...luckily I'm making these reads work for other challenges too

For this challenge, we'll all start with the same author. From there, for the rest of the year, we'll each choose which related author to move onto, leaving a 'literature trail' behind us :) Hopefully we'll discover some great new reads, maybe even some great new authors!
Anyone is welcome to join in! Remember to save a space below to leave your 'literature trail'!
Any suggestion as to the first author and book to begin with? I was hoping to keep it in the horror or thriller genre, at least to start, then we can see where the trail leads...
