Yes, I love those collages. Some Goodreaders actually dislike them, and have complained about them in the Feedback group --I can't imagine why, because I think they're one of the most visually attractive features Goodreads has ever created!

Reggia wrote: "It's pretty cool... do wish they had thought to highlight one's highest-rated book of the year... by the individual reader (not just the Goodreads vote)."
Some, but not all, five-star rated book covers are shown larger than the rest. I'm guessing that the reason that they don't highlight the individual's highest-rated book of the year is that, with a five-star rating scale, there are apt to be quite a few books tied at five stars. The rating scale alone won't indicate which one was the person's top favorite. (But we can do that in our review of the year! :-) )

Perhaps they can include a prompt that asks the reader their favorite read of the year just before creating the page...

Also, I think I may have missed posting some classics for our challenge. I completed only 10 of 18 books.
My Year in Books

For some reason, I can't access Werner's link.

Hmmm! Interestingly, Reggia, when I clicked on my link in message 13 just now, it took me immediately to my Year in Books feature. But when I clicked on your link (in message 15) it also goes to my Year in Books. Not sure what's up with that --I don't try to explain anything that computers do!

EDIT: Nope, I can't find the link on your page.

Reggia, I've just re-posted that link; it should be correct now. They didn't tell me so explicitly in the Goodreads Feedback group, but the implication I got is that trying to link to this feature with the URL you go to when you click on the link Goodreads e-mailed you last month is what causes the problem. Whoever clicks on it gets taken to their own Year in Books. To share a correct link, you have to bring up your Year in Books directly from your profile, and then copy and paste it. (If you're a Goodreads author, you won't have a link to this feature on your profile; but I also got directions for how to get to it in that case, which I can share if anyone needs them.)

As always I read a lot of picture books and short stories, so this makes me look more industrious than I really am.
I've already checked and liked yours Werner. I'll have to take a look at other folks.

Here's the link for 2018 as well: https://www.goodreads.com/user/year_i... . I didn't realize until just now that I'd never posted that one here!

I managed 21 titles out of my goal of 27. (It says 22 because one of the books was a trilogy, and I also listed those separately in addition to that volume.)
Overall, I'm glad I surpassed 20 although Goodreads told me "better luck next year!" LOL, uh, thanks, GR! ;-) :-D

Reggia, for some reason, your link isn't working for me.

Mine says I have read 122 books, but some of these are children's books, short stories or essays! I do know I wrote 106 reviews in 2022, as I kept a separate record of those.
