Suzanne (thisoilfieldwife) | 134 comments As a general goal I am hoping to read 3 books per month for a total of 36 books this year. There is a book club that I am going to try and follow along with (it's online so here's to doing it in my pjs every month!), which I'll list their list here. I'm also hoping to finish out the entire REM list of albums reading challenge, which will for sure boost my book count for the year. I'm planning on reading books for the harder songs first.

Here's the book club list of books I'll be reading with them this year...

1. The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo
2. Bad Feminist by Roxane Gay (I'm not too looking forward to this read, though)
3. The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
4. To All the Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han
5. Breakfast at Tiffany's by Truman Capote
6. Blonde by Joyce Carol Oates
7. Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell (one of my favorite books of all time)
8. Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern (another favorite of mine)
9. The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
10. A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness
11. Go Set a Watchman by Harper Lee
12. Letters From Father Christmas by J. R. R. Tolkien

I will also be rereading the Song of Ice and Fire series by George R. R. Martin, as well as finishing out The Flappers series by Jillian Larkin (I finished Vixen just a few minutes ago) and hoping to join or start a local book club in my area.
