What are your thoughts about Eleanor post-investigation?

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments On the one hand, I felt sorry for her but on the other she got off lightly considering the consequences of her actions.

I don't remember being sympathetic:) Agree she got off VERY lightly.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments I cannot imagine going to the Wall and finding that my brother's name was not, in fact, there. Yet times were so different then, and her parents did not know their son was set up.

Even though he was less than honorable in his actual behavior, Eleanor's rage is understandable -- I don't condone what she did, and I really feel terrible about Sharkey's death.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments I felt sorry for Sharkey as well although he was far from an innocent.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments His mother made me sick; she had a lot to answer for. The underside of society branched out a lot, and I suppose I could see her as a possible victim herself, but poor Sharkey. He should have gotten a better chance to remain innocent as a child.

Ditto. I never really liked her much and I thought Harry got attached to her way too fast.
