In this challenge, you will be reading books from a list put together by the people who signed up!

Here's How It Works:

1. When you sign up, pick out five books you want to be included on the list, or book pool.
2. Any book works as long as it follows these simple guidelines:
-YA
-No Duplicates
3. At the beginning of May, you will start reading books from the entire Book Pool. Pick at least one, but there is no limit on the number of books you read.
4. We will have a bit of a competition; the person who reads the most books in the Book Pool will be the champion for that month!

Well, I wanted to include both the May release books I'm most excited about (City of Heavenly Fire and Take Me On) but they don't release until the 27th, so I guess I won't include them. Boo...

Lol, I don't even know how to begin choosing which ones to read. Between this and You Pick, I Pick, I'll be having my nose in a book all month. And I'm perfectly happy with that! :D

You mean list the books from the book pool that we're planning on reading?

Kind of, just listing the books I plan to read so I'm able to cross them off the list when I read them (like we do in other challenges). I know it doesn't start yet, but I kind of want to have a list of all of the books that I can possibly read, since I've already read a few of them.
Did that make sense?

@Kayla, as Jessica said you can choose 5 more books to add to the pool :D

And Jessica- if you want you can totally make a list now, but you might just want to wait until May when all the books are in :) Doesn't matter to me though (as long as you don't start reading till May!)

Riya, I have a question because I haven't done this challenge in a long time. Do re-reads count towards the goal? Like let's say I've already read the Lightning Thief...would it count if I reread it during the month of May?

I think it totally counts! As long as you did actually read the book (not just like half of it as excerpts or something) then it totally counts! And you don't have to change your Goodreads 'read' date or anything like that if you don't want- I trust you guys :D

Only three more days to sign up! I can't wait till May! =D

I checked out BZRK, The Sky is Everywhere, and Code Name Verity.
I also have City of Heavenly Fire, The Taking, and The Geography of You and Me on hold at the library.
And I have copies of (some ebook, some not) Waterfall, My Not So Super Sweet Life, and Dorothy Must Die.

I AM PREPARED!!!! (Although I probably won't read them all :( I'm really busy in May!)

I wanted to get a copy of The Geography of You and Me a couple days ago but all the copies at my bookstore had dust covers that were folded funny and looked messed up. :( I wasn't going to pay $18 for a book that already looked damaged.
