Hertzan Chimera (hertzanchimera) hello, Authors Society,

my name's Mike Philbin. I'm the moderator of the Philip K Dick discussion group here on GoodReads, an artist of psycho-erotic paintings, the editor/publisher of the Chimeraworld anthology (now in its fifth year), a member of "Writers In Oxford" and author of several published novels/short story/collaborative collections.

My work is generally dream(nightmare)like and contains surrealistic imagery/narratives for adults, in the past I've written under the name Hertzan Chimera.

In summer 2008, Silverthought Press of New York (their Offense Mechanism imprint) will bring out my anti-corporate horror novel "Bukkakeworld" and also my angel apocalypse novel "Planet Of The Owls".

ADDITIONAL:
word games, structure games, they're great, right? In my forthcoming Silverthought Press book "Bukkakeworld" (one drop in the corporate ocean) I wrote the first chapter as a short story four or five years ago, one day in the corporate grind of the 'spat on'. To write the book I copied and pasted this story thirty times and there were my thirty chapters. I then went through and added changes to each 'day' such that the first 'day' and the last 'day' of the book have next to nothing in common BUT the reader has been brainwashed by the style, diction and pacing of each same bland day of pasty human abuse.
