bipasha The topic says it all. But to be more specific, I want books with characters similar to Warner and maybe Kenji too. I DON'T want books similar to the series nor with characters like Juliette AND Adam who are Tstl beyond imagination. That's all. If you could help that be great ! Thanx.
;)

Jelly224 Iv'e been reading the Arcana Chronicals which is kinda similiar in the romance part.

Laney The Trylle Series has a pretty similar romance style in the later books, and I highly recommend them.

Cyana Scriptora Morpheus- Splintered Series

Kendra Conine Why Does He Do That? by Lundy Bancroft.

Why are you recommend such a book? I think you did not understand the complex character Warner is ...

I laughed so hard at this comment, lol
and in seriousness- the girl did rate Ignite Me (Shatter Me, #3) by Tahereh Mafi two stars saying it had "Problematic pairings, more drama than a soap opera, sudden endings, and little to no real resolution. Yep, love it." and that Warner was a sociopath- that fuck Warner and fuck Adam

But you know whatever

deedee megadoodoo Switched (Trylle, #1) by Amanda Hocking so the Trylle series- I really enjoyed! Though the only thing was that the whole fantastical aspect of the book is "trolls". Straight "trolls". And I couldn't get
out of my head... and that changed things in the book for me which could have been really great.

BUT. SOME BOOKS WITH WARNER LIKE CHARACTERS: That I highly recommend:

Everneath (Everneath, #1) by Brodi Ashton
This whole series is a big head spinner. It's very well written and the characters all have motives for what they do- similar to in The Shatter Me series. Instead of there being a corrupt society, there's life and death tied in with Greek Mythology and everyone's got their own issues that they come together with to save lives and whatever. whoo! But this whole series is just as emotional as The Shatter Me series, and the "bad boy" love interest reminds me a lot like Warner because he lies a lot despite having a clear head and a good heart deep down, mostly doing the shitty things he does for the ones he loves without ever taking the credit for it. Another bonus is there's no annoying Adam figure. Instead the Adam of the Everneath Series is the one you're rooting for because he's just as amazing as Warner but has similar traits of Adam's... The good traits... all the good traits.

Under the Never Sky (Under the Never Sky, #1) by Veronica Rossi
This series: again. Complete tornado of emotions. The love interest acts exactly like Warner in the beginning part of the series: an asshole. But then he becomes better as the main girl and the boy come to a better understanding of one another and find that they like each other. Similar to Juliette and Warner. Also what's great about this series is the description, plot, and writing. It blew me a way but reading this series is literally like going to another world much more vivid- and I can firmly say this- than the Shatter Me series.

Bully (Fall Away, #1) by Penelope Douglas
Just to change up the scenery- If you maybe want something outside of the young adult fantasy genre- there's this book which is just set in normal people world. There's no death by super human powers, no jokester Kenji, and there's no psychopath/ dom fathers. But! There is a love interest who has problems inside him which create conflicts between the main girl and him- similar to the whole warner "bad boy, conflicted, hurt deep inside" idea. And while this book doesn't have the magical or fantasy element like the other series above- this is a very real book as it has to do with issues such as betrayal and deceit but also newfound honesty and self-identity. I enjoyed it a lot.

So beyond these main books, other books that I would recommend that have that same Warner-gloomy-hot boy thing going on are

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer (Mara Dyer, #1) by Michelle Hodkin Rival (Fall Away, #2) by Penelope Douglas Sweet Evil (The Sweet Trilogy, #1) by Wendy Higgins Sweet Peril (The Sweet Trilogy, #2) by Wendy Higgins The Winner's Crime (The Winner's Trilogy, #2) by Marie Rutkoski

So in The Winner's Crime- the boy isn't as asshole-ish but he does have secrets he's hiding and things that pain him internally which hold him back from being .... not a big douche.

I would also like to inform everyone reading this post that some of these books are heavily for adults only. Like they go beyond the bad boy Warner kind of image, and the light sexual content in Tahereh Mafi's series, to full on whole picture whole cake of sex. (The Penelope Douglas books. So that's just a warning to take at your own risk/ decision).

Laney Another book with a character like Warner would be Falling Kingdoms. Magnus (the character in question) is a lot like Warner was in the first book for the majority of the series, but he has a lot of complicated layers (just like Warner) and at heart both of them are pretty good guys. Plus, I loved the series. All in all the two book series aren't that similar, but I me and my friend both really enjoyed the complex characters of both.

☽Ƹɱɱɑ☾ The Darkest Minds (The Darkest Minds, #1) by Alexandra Bracken

A character in this book is so similar to Warren that I actually posted a discussion about it. Though there's not much in the love interest category going for him, he is a main character (especially as the series goes on). I highly recommend this book.

Tenmodo the court of thorns and roses... RHYSANDDDD IS THE BEST (AND I LOVE WARNERRRRR)

Mebarka Totaly obsidian by J.armentrout.Deamon is much better

Chisom Definitely A Court of Thornes and Roses. I'm now going through both Warner and Rhysand withdrawal

Lauren The Atlantis Grail by Vera Nazarian!

J Probably way late to the party here, but Conspiracy of Us by Maggie Hall has something similar.

Joanna RHYSAND FROM A COURT OF THORNS AND ROSES TRILOGY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Allie-Anne Hush, Hush (Hush, Hush, #1) by Becca Fitzpatrick

Patch from Hush, Hush is just like Warner

Mandie Schnell I agree, the Obsidian (Lux series) by Armentrout has a character like Warner, it's also a very funny series as well, about died laughing throughout the books. Another series by Armentrout has a character like Warner called The Dark Elements series. It also has a love triangle in it. It's an awesome series as well.

Maria Capella Hi. I think I know exactly what you are looking for. Read Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge. It's amazing, very well written and Ignifex is just like Warner.

kiera.bilson You said maybe a character like Kenji, and honestly it might be just me but Captain Carswell Thorne gave me serious Kenji vibes. Cinder is the first book in The Lunar Chronicles series. The Lunar Chronicles is one of my favorite series and it's not super popular which in my opinion should totally change. It's definitely not as intense as Shatter Me but still super enjoyable. It's a YA fairy tale re-telling of 4 different fairy tails. Example: Cinder is the retelling of Cinderella. It's a dystopian world with romance, some sci-fi, and got me into reading after a really long time. Also if you read this whole paragraph, then round of applause to you hahah.

alexandra (warner’s version) there is no one like warner😭

Cami✯ I want Aaron for myself. No one can top him.

Reader Definitely Once Upon a Broken Heart, Jacks is definitely giving warner like the attitude and overall personality

Lydia Song Kai from powerless, definitely Warner and Kenji, Cyrus from this woven kingdom, Jameson and Grayson from the inheritance games. Do u agree on these?
