Just started Flight 232. Loving it. This brings me back to when it actually happened here in Sioux City and I was a budding college student. I want to take the kids to the monument this summer and spend some time talking to them about it. I'll be ready after this book I think. What a tragic but miraculous accident. Ugh.

I've read The Handmaid's Tale once before but it's been YEARS. I have always wanted to re-read it and a friend of mine just gave it to me to read. She was surprised that I'd already read it. SO....divine providence....time to read it again! As I recall, the writing is beautiful, the subject very perplexing and controversial....so that means....the discussion with my friend Laura...PRICELESS. Can't wait to start on it. I think it will be a springtime read.
