Ah, the feeling of freedom and serendipity!
Good luck with your 50 :)

Indeed! Thanks :-)

3) Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
both by J.K. Rowling

15) Enid Blyton - First Term at Malory Towers
16) L.M. Montgomery - Anne of Green Gables

This was highly recommended on the podcast 'a Good Read' (Radio 4) and was also raved about in Waterstones when I asked about it...

Thanks - very much enjoying the challenge this year!

I'm afraid to say I gave up on this one, so can't fairly include it in my count.... Unusual, as I love Daphne Du Maurier's books, but this one doesn't fit her usual genre; clearly I prefer her romances!!

34) Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
35) Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
36) Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

I absolutely love this. Cannot believe I haven't read it before this!
