I'm going to go for Level 2 on this one but may end up with Level 3 since I'm planning on doing a refresh of the Harry Potter series.

I hear ya, Jackie. I read several series last year, both regular and graphic. Now I know I'll do this challenge but I'm not ready to commit to a series yet.
I had no idea there were so many Blandings books, Iasa. I'll definitely look into them. I love Wodehouse.
Thats a great question. I'll add it to my updates. And no you don't have to read an entire series or even start from Book One of the series.
I'm definitely in! I'll probably do a few different series at level 1, and I have one in mind for level 2. I'll update once I've chosen which ones to focus on.
I have so many series going on that I really, really need this challenge to help me focus. I'm aiming for a couple level 1 challenges. I'll list them all in one post to save space and check them off as I go.

Renee, I think this is the hardest one for me. It's so easy to get distracted with new books!

Slowly but surely, I'm chipping away at it. I don't feel like I'm getting very far because I'm doing more than one series. But I'll get there!

Question: for the Crunch, could I use a publishing series, such as the British Library Crime Classics (20), and the Persephone books (20)?
Hmm. I hadn't thought of those things you've mentioned as series, Veronique. I think of them more as "collections." As usual, I'm going to say, "Use your best judgement." You're already taking on a challenge with the Barsetshire novels.

No that's ok. They are indeed collections and not series. I got a wild moment :O)
As you say, I have plenty with the two Barsetshire series, and the multitude of trilogies.

That sounds perfect, Tina. I tried to make it so people could continue with wherever they were in a given series and still participate.
I don't know much about these, other than the fact that Stella is using them for the Crazy Calendar challenges. Use your best judgment. If they seem series-like, then use them. :)

1. Naked in Death
2. Glory in
3. Immortal in Death

I have also finished Jack and Jill, the third book from Alex Cross series by James Patterson.

Tina - well done too :0)
I've just read the second Wells and Wong book (Arsenic for Tea - great middle-grade murder mystery) and Mitosis. Getting ready however to start The Warden early June.
Great job, Sam!
Looking forward to The Warden, Vero... And I added the Wells & Wong to my TBR. :)

Level 3: Crunch! Crunch! Crunch!: more than 10 books/volumes in a single series read this year
-You can do this for more than one series, but you need to post them separately.
-You don't have to read the entire series. For example, You may choose to read the first 3-4 books of one series, then start a new challenge with a different series. Depending on your reading habits.
-Also, you don't have to start with the first book in the series, as long as you have at least 3 books still to read. For example, I've already read 11 books of O'Brian's Aubrey-Maturin series, but there are more than 20 in the series, so I could start with Book 12 and go from there.
