The poetry magazine, Rattle, has a great Ekphrastic Poem Contest. Each month Tim Green, the editor, posts an image and anyone who wants writes a poem inspired by it. I’m particularly excited because this month’s image is one of my paintings. Some of you may not realize it, but my MFA is in Painting, not poetry. I slipped over the border into Wordland, some years back.
