For Benjanun Sriduangkaew, it looks like Woman of the Sun, Woman of the Moon is available free online.
Ooh and I have access to the eBook for A Stranger in Olondria by Sofia Samatar through my library.
I guess I'm on my way!

Here are links to free online stories by Sofia Samatar. Ramez Naam also has a short story, 'Water', online.

Thanks for popping in, Benjanun!

Wanted to also provide links to any free fiction online available from Wesley Chu and Max Gladstone, but as far as I can tell they don't write short fiction. I imagine their novels would be included in the Hugo Voter Packet, though.

Max has a story in the Campbellian Anthology Daran linked to above which is quite interesting. Not sure if there are others and it was part of an anthology so not online otherwise as far as I can tell.

Wesley Chu also meant to send a contribution, but he was facing a deadline and forgot because of it. You can sample an excerpt from one of his novels here: http://www.tor.com/stories/2013/09/th...
All five nominees should be represented in the Hugo Voter Packet, although I do not yet know which work(s) any of them will supply. Depending on what the admins allow when gathering materials, there is a chance the Campbellian Anthology might contain a few tidbits that the Voter Packet doesn't.

I'm going to get copies of Max's books too. Having made his acquaintance on twitter, I can say that he's a lovely person and exceptionally charming (also in person, I hear!).

Yay! I like doing those posts a lot and plan to do so at least once a month, it's fun and lets me express my love of short fiction. Most of those other writers are actually more established or famous than I am, hee.

I've been dabbling in Sofia Samatar today. Does anyone know if she more typically writes in the urban fantasy style of the selkie story or the high fantasy feeling of Olondria? Quite a bit of contrast there, wonder it she's trying on some different styles and voices. (I know some authors don't stick with just one and that's okay!)

Sofia has a great range. I published a SF story by her back in 2012. You can read it here: http://clarkesworldmagazine.com/samat...
