Laura | 12 comments How do I link a book from goodreads to my posts here? Thanks

Nell Click on 'add book/author' at the top of the comment box. Type the book or series title in the search box. To post the book title, just click "Add". To post the book cover, you have to switch from link (title) to cover at the bottom of the box. If you want links or covers to appear on the same line, put a space between them. If you want to start a different row, press enter.

Nell, thanks for helping Laura out! I had such a crazy day at work yesterday that I'm just now catching up on messages here.

I think that this feature is only on the website, not available on the mobile app. You can manually add the link on the app but it is a PITA so I wouldn't suggest it unless you really really want it and can't wait until you are at a computer.

If that is the case, here is how to manually type in the link:
for book title, type [book:type your book title here]
for author, type [author:type author first and last name here]

so if I wanted to add a link to the short stories I am currently reading, I would type [book:Ficciones] and what should show up in my comment is Ficciones
