DarthVixReads | 26 comments I just finished reading Pride of Baghdad and I think it's the second Graphic Novel to move me to tears and just break my heart but I am also a big baby when it comes to animals. The first one was The Complete Maus which would also be a good one for this topic!

Shirley | 69 comments Sounds good, I haven't read either of those I hate to admit. Hello library catalogue search yet again!

quietprofanity | 72 comments I took the typical route and read Maus as well. I really, really loved it, though. (I wrote a review here.)

Bea I read March: Book Two about the Civil Rights Movement in the 60s, but I am going to move it to Task 11. I have a different one planned for this task.

Martha (marthag503) Zahra's Paradise about the human rights abuse of protestors after the 2009 elections in Iran. Hard to read, but powerful and heartbreaking.

Brandy B (bybrandy) | 42 comments I read Maus and Persepolis for other challenges this year. I read March Book 1 and Book 2 last year.
