I'm reading Pride of Baghdad for this one!

I just finished reading Pride of Baghdad and I think it's the second Graphic Novel to move me to tears and just break my heart but I am also a big baby when it comes to animals. The first one was The Complete Maus which would also be a good one for this topic!

Sounds good, I haven't read either of those I hate to admit. Hello library catalogue search yet again!

I took the typical route and read Maus as well. I really, really loved it, though. (I wrote a review here.)

I read March: Book Two about the Civil Rights Movement in the 60s, but I am going to move it to Task 11. I have a different one planned for this task.

Zahra's Paradise about the human rights abuse of protestors after the 2009 elections in Iran. Hard to read, but powerful and heartbreaking.

I read Maus and Persepolis for other challenges this year. I read March Book 1 and Book 2 last year.
