Also, what I want to figure out:
"The things I do for love," he said with loathing.
Why did Jaime say this with loathing? Does he loathe pushing Bran out of the tree? Does he hate the situation? Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but it seemed quite significant when I read it.
Also, why did he ask Bran's age?

My thoughts:
1) "The things I do for love"
I think he is meaning that he loves his twin sister but not in a brotherly way....yuck! and is willing to throw a kid out the window and kill him just to be with her in secret.
2) Bran's age
I think he wants to know how old he is so that he will know whether or not the kid understands what they were doing. Does he understand they were having incestuous sex or not? He maybe also asked his age to see if he could be trusted to keep his mouth shut. We all know kids can't keep secrets.
That is how I interpreted it anyway.

Does Bran ever name his wolf?
I feel like this represents the traditional theory (?) of hubris. He's always saying he never falls and won't fall, but we all know what happens...
Bran is definitely an adventurer which makes what happened all the worst.
It seems like a few of the major events that create this domino effect are all based in assumptions and you know what they say lol (assumptions make an ass out of you and me).

I think 'hubris' is too strong a word for Bran, he's just a kid, after all, it's normal of him to think that if he hasn't fallen yet, he never will. And he is quite good at climbing, he's been doing it for so long, after all.
As for what Jamie says: Thank you for pointing it out. His character changes a lot in the later books and I can't elaborate on it, because of spoilers, and it's not important now anyway, we'll probably discuss it when reading the other books, but I always thought it was a bit sudden and unprepared. That sentence proves me wrong.

Yes that moment in the show sucked me in as well.

Yes it absolutely is.
But I still love Jamie. I know I am weird.
