I read the series over the summer last year and became completely obsessed with the story and cannot wait to reread it and discuss it with everyone. I think this series deserves a lot more attention and I can't wait to see what everyone thinks of it! :)

I'm excited to read this book from a POV of critically analyzing the typecasting and stereotypes of minority groups and the stance that JA Redmerski takes on bringing her characters and setting to life. I'm SO EXCITED for this readalong, I cannot even begin to express it! I haven't read this series yet, but I've wanted to since when Lainey recommended it on her channel few months ago. I'll be reading these books on my trusty Kindle and join the discussion.

PS. I've read The Edge of Never by the same author, which I liked but was not my favorite.

My name's Anna, I'm from Poland. I'm not a booktuber or bookbloger, I just enjoy reading books- it's my biggest hobby. I've discovered booktube over a year ago and quickly fell in love with watching videos related to books.
I've dicited to join this readalong because I've been wanting to read this series since I heard Lainey and Riley talk about it. And I trust these two girls FULLY since they recommended the Fever series and I LOVED IT!

Also, I read The Edge Of Never by J.A. Redmerski last year and wasn't a huge fan of it and I think that's why I pushed In The Company Of Killers series aside. But actualy I'm very happy I did that because now I can read it with all of you guys! :)

And, I quickly purchased the book and plan on starting it this evening. Thus, I am a bit behind the club's reading schedule. I'm sure I will catch up quickly.

I am a member of a book club that has been meeting bi-monthly for 5 years and we have read approximately 30 books together. Their book choices tend to be historical fiction.
