I just found this group and haven't really read a lot of the posts yet, so I'm not that familiar with any members, nor have I contributed. I have found that most of the groups on Goodreads do not have great book discussions (or much discussion at all, unfortunately), but I yry to join a lot of groups to see what others are reading/ get recommendations. Will try to poke around this group later today some more and see if there are any posts I can contribute to. Love your screen name! :)

Thanks Susan! There haven't been much book discussions here which is why I asked if anyone paid attention. It's mainly a place to spotlight the book discussion on The Diane Rehm Show and On Point. Many good books (and their authors) are featured there.

I LOVE Diane Rehm's Reader's Review, and have been reading the books along with her for a year or so now. My favorites have been House on Haunted Hill, All the Light We Cannot See and Olive Kittridge. I'm thinking of working backwards and listening to the archived shows since there hasn't been many new ones recently.

I catch On Point once or twice a week, but have never heard them talk about books! What have been some of your favorite book episodes? I'll look them up!

On Point does book every once in a while, but not as often as Diane. I listen to these shows every day.

I liked the shows on All The Light, Under the Wide and Starry Sky, The Plantagenets: The Warrior Kings and Queens Who Made England, The Wars of the Roses: The Fall of the Plantagenets and the Rise of the Tudors, and Magna Carta: The Birth of Liberty.

I've also recommended the website to my friends and family. I was very pleased with my stay at the resort you're at. The website is great, and I'm thinking of sharing this with anyone else who is traveling.
