Whoa! I read this chapter and enjoyed it a lot. I think the guy with the knife who came to kill Bran had to be someone sent by a Lannister. I say this because they talked about the knife not suiting this bum (ok they worded it a lot better). The Lannisters have the kind of money to have such a knife and Jaime and Cersei have the motive for eliminating Bran.

Way to go Direwolf!!! ( I forget what his name is.) And Theon wanted to get rid of the direwolf pups, Sheesh.

Ria (ban1chka) | 440 comments Okay, so I found it really weird that Theon would say something like "My house owes you a great debt.", considering what happens in the later books. And oh, my sweet literary cursh, how confused you are. Damn, I meant to write something profound about Theon, but I forgot what it was and I've been commenting for over an hour so my head hurts. If I remember, I'll just edit this pretty much pointless comment. Sorry :D

no, no

You can leave it. It is quite funny to be honest.

I feel like Robb had to grow up pretty quick since Catelyn kind of ignored being the responsible adult and help him learn.
So now she tries to teach him something...
I don't think she's the best mom. Everyone keeps forgetting about Rickon!

Exactly. Yep no Mom of the year award for her.

Ria (ban1chka) | 440 comments Yes, yes, YES, exactly! And you can see the effect it's having on Rickon in the later books. I've always been kind of afraid for him. I mean, come on, people! Someone go be a parent to him!
I also agree about Catelyn, I especially hated the meltdown she had when Bran fell, mostly because somehow I get the feeling she wouldn't do that had ot been any of her other children. A mother is not allowed the luxury of having favourites. Even if she does, she shouldn't show it. And yet she stayed with Bran all this time when there was nothing she could do him and when Robb needed her the most. (view spoiler) I have no words...
