Clara 1-Arya and Gendry have hoods on their heads when they reach the cave. I forgot the walls were part stone and soil, and there were huge white roots. I wonder if there is a weirwood up. Arya sees men, women and children there. She also sees Thoros, who looks quite different from the fat guy she knew. He has hair now, and is way skinnier than the last she saw him. I forgot he changed so much.

-The Mad Huntsman brought the captive, who ended up being Sandor Clegane. He didn’t want to take him out of the cage, but he agreed and the Hound was brought to the lord of light. Maybe he fears them and their god, and Beric with all the tales as well. He found the Hound sleeping drunk under a tree. Thoros said he was not the false priest he used to be, the lord of light is now awake in his heart, and claims to see things in flames like Melisandre does. He saw a force coming, which is quite vague to be honest. They called themselves brothers, or at least Thoros did.

-When the Hound said they were hiding, they replied they haven’t. They’ve fought Hoat, Gregor and Bolton. Maybe some of them were the ones who attacked Jaime and Brienne a while ago. A man starts talking, and Arya thinks he looks like a scarecrow. Beric Dondarrion used to be handsome, but he was full of scars now. He had only one eye and had a dark black ring around his neck. He said even though Robert is dead and they know, they are King’s men. To be honest, I don’t know why they just say they fight for the people instead of the king. They say they don’t have banners after all.

-The Hound calls them Brave Companions, and they don’t like it at all. I think it’s well known the Mummers are called like that. They are the Brotherhood without banners, the knights of the hollow hill. We know how Sandor feels about knights. He says Beric is the only knight there, but it seems he made them all knights as well. Lol when he told them to kill him so he wouldn’t have to hear the pious bleating. It seems he doesn’t mind dying.

-They said he was part of the massacre of Sherrer and the Mummer’s Ford, but he said he wasn’t. They named a lot of people, and I think they just wanted to blame him for everything. Those people were killed by Lannisters, and even though he used to serve them, he didn’t kill them. Thoros said his house was built on dead children, and Sandor doesn’t like that. I think he wasn’t even in King’s Landing, but I could be wrong. I really like he said they were the same, but he didn’t deny who he was. Arya shouts Sandor killed Mycah, and he replied if she didn’t know she was dead. I don’t think at the time Arya picked up what that meant, how she was dead to the world.

-Arya said she attacked Joffrey, not Mycah. But both Joffrey and Sansa said so, so he just followed orders. Now the Hound was accused of murder, and the lord of light had to judge him. So Beric said they¡re would be trial by battle, and he will fight the Hound. Sandor and Beric used swords and shields but not armors. Beric said Sandor’s innocence would be his armor, he’s not innocent, lol. Beric was pretty fucked, full of scars in his chest as well. Of course Arya wanted Sandor to die, and was rooting for Beric all along. Arya wanted the Hound to be as afraid as Mycah was before he died, and hopes he fears Beric. I don’t think he did, until there was fire involved.

-They prayed; if Sandor is innocent he will live. Beric cuts himself, and his sword is now on fire. Gendry was praying, lol. Even though Gendry doesn’t think Beric used wildfire, it does sounds like it, even though it’s not mentioned is green. But with a little warmth the sword was afire, so it was something similar I would say.

-They fight. At one point Sandor’s shield was on fire, and soon his whole left arm was. I really like his character, and it must have been so damn awful for him, he is terrified of fire as we know. And I think that fear moved him a little to win. Beric’s sword snapped, and the Hound cut him from where his neck and shoulder and neck joined to his breastbone. And the sword stayed in Beric’s body! Sandor rolled in the dirt, and Arya thought if there were gods, why Beric lost. Crying, the Hound asked for help, and Thoros sent some people to help him, and he went to Beric. Arya took a dagger and approached Sandor. He told her if she wanted him dead do bad, to do it with the dagger, it was cleaner than fire. He had some serious burns. The Hound says he killed Mycah, saw how Sansa was beaten and how Ned died. Lem took the dagger and Arya told the Hound to go to hell and from behind, Beric said he was already there. So, he didn’t die. I think it’s explained a little more in Arya’s next chapter how the hell he is not dead, and what Thoros does to keep him alive.
