364 books were listed, with 465 total votes (excluding the people with improper formatting, I just didn't have time to fix those)

These are our top books:

1. The Girl on the Train - Paula Hawkins 11 Votes!
2. The Martian - Andy Weir - 9 votes
3. All the Light We Cannot See - Anthony Doerr - 8 votes
4. Station Eleven - Emily St. John Mandel - 5 votes
4. Circling the Sun - Paula McLain 5 votes
6. In the Unlikely Event - Judy Blume - 4 votes

The rest of these had 3 votes each:

Big Little Lies
The Nightingale
A Christmas Carol
Epitaph
The Storied Life of AJ Fikry
Everything I Never Told You
The Little Paris Bookshop
To Kill a Mockingbird
The Narrow Road to the Deep North
Ordinary Grace
The Sparrow
Ready Player One
Eleanor & Park
Americanah
Our Souls at Night

All the Light was number one on our list last year, nice to see that carry forward. Station Eleven got 5 votes last year as well, and the Storied Life also featured high on the list last year.

Thanks all for your votes. What do you think? Did your favorites make it?

Joe Boenzi | 3 comments Thanks for the wrap up and ratings. To the question "did your favorites make it?", I have to say, no. None of them did. But that's fine. This lets me look forward to expanding my reading list in future.

Joe Boenzi | 3 comments Just a comment about the move from Shelfari to GoodReads. I received a message that the transfer of my book shelf has been "successful". 35 titles and 1 review transferred, whereas I have listed nearly 800 titles and have written 500 reviews. I'm not so confident that GoodReads is a good solution, but there seems to be no way to appeal their actions. Just saying.

Joe, I would definitely contact customer service for Goodreads. They are responsive via email although whether they will do something is another story.

Also, even though I initiated my shelf move quickly, it took several days, but they did send me a CSV file and some other files that represent my shelf content. So maybe you will have more luck trying to import the information yourself? I'm not sure, but wanted to let you know that they did send more after the shelf was moved.

Alison (alisondd) I have the fear of the transfer as well, I have over 4,000 to get over here.

Barbara M (barbara-m) | 3 comments Joe et al Re: Move of shelf from Shelfari to GR. I had the same experience 800 books moved, only one review. I have over 2,500 between TBR and Read. Those that transferred were marked read when they should have been to-read. Now I am marking them to-read and finding that some reviews transferred (more than 1) but some did not.

Barbara M (barbara-m) | 3 comments I have read 5 of those on this shelf and will be noting some down to put on the TBR if they aren't already there.
