I loved this book and am planning to read the rest of them

I'm most of the way through the series. All the books are very entertaining. There are also some short stories about St. Mary's available from Audible for free.

Get it. Get it. It's adult and adorable.

I loved this book. My husband read it and first thing he wanted to know is whether there were more!

I struggled with this book to be honest. Important and interesting (to me) parts of the plot seem to be glossed over and the trivial things were explained in great detail. (example cautiously written to avoid spoilers but she took a pod form a garden near the end to go somewhere 'important' and that whole escapade lasted about a page and yet bonking on the bonnet had a couple of pages etc. I do not know the authors work but it felt like she was maybe somewhat new at the stage of writing this book, would that be correct? Does it get better in the following books?. I am not planning to do more in the series based on this first one, but then feel things might improve and I am missing out etc.
